If you imagine remaining in the EU to require a certain number of boxes to be ticked first, we are quite a long way down the list now.

    Great job Brexiters.

What have Brexit voters done? They voted. Job done. It's the Remainers who have been stirring things up and causing problems ever since.
Without all their meddling intervention there's every chance we'd be on our way to negotiating trade deals now. No doubt on a crap deal, but it would be better than the situation we're in now.

Everyone who voted Remain really passionately wanted, and still wants, to stay in the EU.

You've lost any credibility straight away.
People have expressed many views. Even on this forum there are some who voted remain, but would now vote leave. Some because of their views on democracy, some because they've changed their mind. Yet you come out and claim that not a single remain voter has changed their mind.:rotfl:

29 March, pro leave rally, hundreds on the streets,
You missed a couple of important words from the headline
    far right
Sadly the extremists do tend to turn up to cause trouble.
It may be worth checking out a less biased source too. Even the Remain supporting BBC admits to thousands.

Besides, it's hardly comparable, The march by Remain was an organised, planned march, with people being shipped in from all over the country.

If anything, it could be said the Leave campaigners were more determined as some of them had walked a lot of the way, not just got a free ride in an air conditioned bus to enjoy a day out in the capital.
Hardly worth making a trip all the way to London when it was still possible that Parliament may have agreed to the deal by the time they arrived. Most of what you had there will have been a few (thousand) locals.

Yeah the images look like low thousands, maybe 3-4000.

I haven't seen any condemnation of the far right from anyone on the pro-brexit side. Writing the violence off as being the far right means nothing if you parade alongside them.

There were plenty of the dreaded far left at the pro-EU march but no arrests.

Leave was pretty well organised too, with busses and figureheads. Not many walked particularly far

They were far too busy taking selfies, waving their virtue flags, and trying to find a descent vegan caramel and strawberry frappuccino, to cause trouble...

In my opinion some of the EU27 are minded to refuse an extension beyond April 12th.

Their original offer as I understood it was a further extension beyond April 12th to May 22nd if the Withdrawal/transition/Political declaration deal was passed by the British Parliament. This extension deal was offered after many hours of discussion in the EU27. It is easy to see that a refusal to further extend could win the day when they all meet again on April 10th.

This is how the EU could end any uncertainty. Refuse any extension & force the Governments hand. Agree the deal, Cancel A50 or leave with no deal. No messing about with General Elections. No waiting for a second referendum. You have 2 weeks to make up your mind. Come back & tell us which it is. Job done.

So nicer people all round, than rioters and those who leave death threats?
    I agree.
  • Can someone tell me what the point of selfies is? It must be so sad that you have no-one willing to take the picture for you.
What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare

No there aren't. There are quite a few low post count recent joiners who mysteriously log in and out in sequence during conversations that go:

"I hate Europe. I voted Remain but I have seen the error of my ways now. Close our boarders and Remain loosers can get over it."

Click - click - click - log out log out log in

"Me too. loved the EU before but now I hate it. Remain loosers need to accept and get over. Take back our boarders."

    Click click click

You get the point. Heaven forfend I would make this accusation at anyone here at all.

Rather than being a bunch of ill tempered, racist thugs, threatening journalists and camera crews.
