More bitter than death threats against MPs [STRIKE]or[/STRIKE] by old ladies who create petitions?

22 weeks will do it according to the electoral commission.

    Quote fixed.

Anyway, it doesn’t matter to me whether it takes one week or 22. I thought my vote counted in the last one, but if it turns out not then I won’t be wasting my time in a rerun.

Bore off Bob, let democracy take place, too many like yourself looking to de-rail Brexit.

Another Newbie that does not like the truth.
Few people are capable of expressing with equanimity opinions which differ from the prejudices of their social environment. Most people are incapable of forming such opinions.

    Another Newbie? :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

It would seem I have been here longer than most, even the much lauded @Thrugelmir and when @Arklight mentioned I was a new poster I just had to have a little laugh.

C'mon fellas let's stick to the imaginative and incredible as infantile and puerile really is not worth it!

    :T :T :T

Certain posters here love to do that to newer posters.
In most forums it would rightly be called a name beginning "t" that would probably get me banned if I use it here . . . . . and not only because of the massed pressing of the "Report" button from angry remain posters.

Some people will stop at nothing to .... persuade .... others not to contradict or correct their posts.
Funnily enough it always seems to be posters in favour of staying in the EU.

Further to the above, it seems that post count often indicates an egotistical desire to hear and see what their own, often biased, thoughts are rather than paying any heed to considered and accurate opinions of others.

Effective communication is a 2 way street, something that our politicians seem to have forgotten recently.

But hey it takes all sorts.

Another referendum would be so bitter, it would make the last one look like a tea party.

We would need a delay of a year to organize, meaning we have to put forward EU parliament candidates. I'm not sure the EU want that.

I'm not sure we'd need long to organize at all. Brexit has been on the forefront of the news for 3 years now, almost everyone is entrenched, all arguments have been made.

6 weeks to sort out the polling booths and get the printing done would be sufficient.

    Polling booths is easy.

Who decides what the question is?
