You can do what's right for them, but it leaves us with a lot of grief

Thanks all, I know it was the right thing to let him go but I'm really missing him. I know some people think cats aren't sensitive to emotions or intuitive etc in the way dogs can be. However in the last 2 weeks of OH's life BOFB lay at his feet or on a chair next to the bed 24/7. I'll get BOFB's ashes back soon and will scatter some where OH is buried.

Oops. that post didn't work very well - can't see how to do multiquotes with the new set up2

Don't worry about it, teapot - my multiquotes on my diary went very odd, greent told me they were pretty wobbly in general. Cats definitely sense things about human needs and emotions. I have a generally very involved story about my first cat, a grey one, but the simplest is when I was working at home, and I had a client with me who I really respected for the way she handled things, but she was going through a tough time. My cat sat outside the door of my therapy room and miaowed for the *whole* session. Fortunately, my client was so focussed on what she herself was doing, she never heard till the end, as she was getting ready to go!Thats a lovely idea to scatter the ashes near OH - comforting on all sorts of levels.2023: the year I get to buy a car2

Am off to work shortly which I can't be bothered with really. Its a meeting I'm obliged to attend but don't get paid for so not feeling the love! Cold again today but dry at the moment. I've made a curry in case I feel like eating when I get home and if I don't feel like it, it will do for tomorrows tea. Had an online shop from Sainsbug delivered, had an £8 off voucher so stocked up on a few things in my order. Got another smaller voucher too for a future shop.
Spent ages trying to get the scanner on my printer working with the new laptop. The copier works fine but can't get the scanner part of it to recognise the computer. Think I'll need to get the guy who set it up to come and have a go. Think some of my grumpiness is down to that, it means I can't claim compo online on a train ticket for a journey last week that was delayed by 2 hours. Will go to the station and see if I can get a paper form. Its not a lot of money but that's not the point
A couple of Prolific surveys done and am up to £12+ on there now. Also did a few on 1poll which is also creeping up.
Guess I'd better head off and get ready to go to work
