my client was so focussed on what she herself was doing, she never heard till the end, as she was getting ready to go!scottishlass said:Lurker here but teapot2 do you have a mobile phone that you can take a picture of the ticket with - thats what I usually use and then just email myself the picture to upload it on the form

I do have a mobile and would normally use that to take a photo but didn't think of emailing it to myself. I had been trying to download a photo direct to the laptop but that wouldn't work either so gave up! Good idea though thanks.

Been on a course for work today which was quite full on so been tired this evening after I got home around 6.30pm. Lots of sleet showers today and its really cold so after tea of baked potato and cheesy beans, I've just sat under a blanket and watched TV! My first bit of work tomorrow is cancelled so don't have to get up at 6.30 yay.4

Still very windy, cold and sleeting today - seems to have been windier the last couple of days than it was with storm Dennis. Fed up with it now though very aware that we are lucky not to have flooding like some areas. The only damage so far is a wee fence down which is not repairable but also not vital. Only trip outside between showers was to clear up other people's recycling which had blown into the garden - why put your recycling out the afternoon before its emptied when 60 mile winds are forecast!!! The town was full of rubbish and plastic blowing about, glass smashed on the roads and recycling boxes flying around at alarming speeds. I didn't bother putting mine out at all as I would have been at work when it was collected and the boxes would have blown away. Anyhoo moan over.
Not been feeling great today, missing BOFB, I guess that's understandable as its the weekend and I don't have to rush off to work so really noticing him not being there. Just taking it easy and unfortunately eating lots of biscuits. I did make soup for lunch though with lots of veg and will have kedgeree for tea, have poached some smoked haddock so going to make that shortly.
Not much going on financially, I had to pay for my work insurance which was £135 so that made a big hole in my business account.
I've had a couple of Ugov surveys this week and Prolific is up to £16+ so will cash out when some of the pending payments come through. Had a P Cone survey paid this week and went to redeem it via an @m@zon voucher but they don't seem to be offering those any more. Will have to think about what I can else claim. Have listed a few items online but not sold anything for about a week.
Think I'll see what I've got recorded on the Skkkyy box that I fancy watching and will curl up under a blanket on the settee.

Snow yesterday but as it had rained most of the night it didn't lie, very cold all day though. Forgot how sticky snow is as my jacket was covered by the time I reached work. Sunny but cold again today.
Cheery news of new baby arrival in the family - a wee boyNot a part of the family I see often in person but lovely to see photos.
Payment arrived in my business account from one of last month's invoices. Am itching to transfer it to my current account but better leave it there as this is a short month and work room rental payment will come out next Thursday. Unlikely to be enough in there to cover by then if I move it. Joys of having money dribbling in randomly from invoices.
Have claimed a £10 L@keland voucher from erew@rds as want to get some anti moth stuff. Had a bit of an invasion last year and the larvae ate bits of a small woollen rug which I've disposed of now. I'm sure they will be back so want to be prepared as have a new to me charity shop wool cardi I'll like to keep and got a rather nice woollen scarf for Christmas. Prolific is at the £20 mark once everything is paid and 1poll is creeping up slowly. No other financial news, just plodding it feels like.
I'm working late afternoon and evening so best get on as long to do list before I head off....

Grr lost a long post - not liking this new forum, its much 'clunkier' and I find it more difficult to negotiate
. Have wrapped an online sale for posting later and looked at the banks. Transferred £150 into my current acct from the business account. Will look later at all the CC owings and decide where it should go and in the meantime it will get a wee bit of interest. The monthly interest and cashback has landed in the current account which is with the Spanish bank, the rewards available will decline further in May so I'll probably switch to another bank by that point.
Heavy frost this morning which the sun has now melted so its cold and crisp with a blue sky which is a definite improvement from the wet and windy recent weather. Today got a work meeting in a nearby town then afterwards have to go into the city for another meeting. No money will be earned but these are both meetings I'm obliged to attend.
My work dairy is looking a bit less crowded for the next couple of weeks so will make arrangements to meet people as it feels like its been all work or work related lately.
Going to get something to eat before I head out......

Yikes didn't realise its about a week since I posted. Work has been busy and was out with family all day on Saturday, bought lunch but my payment from Prolific covered that
Sunday was a catching up on housework and admin day. Long day at work yesterday, been at home today and was looking forward to a less busy day apart from a few hours working via the medium of online. However, I have a report to write which involves a fair bit of reading so that took up much of the day and I also managed to get some of it written up but more to do in the next few days. On a positive note, it seems like I'm recovering from the difficult financial time at Christmas through working more so providing it continues like this I should be able to make inroads on my debts. My concern is that if the virus takes hold and the places I work in close temporarily I won't have any income and I have very little emergency fund now eek. I have however just got a bit of temporary work for a few weeks for which I've charged the company that approached me a bigger hourly rate than I normally charge so that will help.
Had my online shop delivered today and managed a couple of good Prolific surveys in between reading and report writing. Also watched an hour of online CPD. Had an online sale this morning so will get that packed up later to post. Also claimed £5 on Pinec@ne to go into PP which I'll use towards a CC when it arrives.
Tomorrow I have a gap of a few hours between work and a meeting so will pop round to the L@keland shop to collect the moth deterrents I bought with my erew@rds voucher - hope they work. I also need to buy something for the latest tiny human to arrive and will get a wee thing for their sibling as well. Was hoping the JL vouchers for taking out their CC and spending on it might have arrived to cover the cost but not appeared so far.
