Looking good, for Lin Anderson and the coffee and brownie. And the dog :j:j:j
And omigod, you manage to get one of those really late supermarket deliveries? I'd fall off my perch :o I'm glad you can make use of them!

LOL they always seem to arrive quite a bit earlier than the late slot so it works out ok. If I'm really tired I just stick perishables in the fridge/freezer and leave everything else till the morning

I was going to post yesterday evening but got sidetracked by a very interesting programme about octopuses, they are beautiful and mysterious and a bit eerie too.

Went out with a friend for breakfast yesterday which turned into a 3 hour blether - not seen each other for about 18 months so lots of catching up to be done. Also unexpectedly entertained by a German brass band in full regalia who had arrived at the GC for coffee and cakes and gave a short performance first :D

Trainline have refunded my ticket money so the CC balance is looking healthier. I've been paid by one organisation so my business account also looks a bit healthier. I'd nearly emptied it to put towards debts .

Got up about 6.30 for work, waited for bus which didn't arrive  next one not for half an hour. Turned out the first one had broken down :(. I only just got to work on time as the bus was very very busy due to one being missing. Had a meeting about some possible new work and that looks like it will go ahead from the end of October. Tired now so going to head off for an early night :)

I've taped that progrtamme about octopuses, not watched it yet, but it looks *really* interesting. Off to Bedfordshire myself now.

hope you enjoy it when you do watch, I found the changing colours, patterns and textures of the octopus mesmerising and the whole programme fascinating even if not entirely comfortable about keeping such a creature indoors.

A busy weekend, was out with family on Saturday to the cinema and then for a meal. Yesterday went to the woods with a friend and had a lovely afternoon. There was a thick haar when I opened the curtain but it had mostly burnt off by lunchtime. Coffee and cake afterwards and a good blether.

Last day of the book festival today which coincides with last day of the 'fficial festival so the city should be a bit less busy going forward. Am meeting someone I was at school with for a coffee after the BF event.

Nothing money saving has gone on this weekend :o:o and I've spent too much for comfort so will rein myself in :o:o. Have managed to resist buying any shiny new books at the BF though. Will compile a list and wait for them to appear in charity shops instead.

Its not a BH weekend up here, ours isn't until September. I don't have much work this week at all but next week is jam packed - thats just the way its worked out.

Don't wish to jinx anything but big old furry boy seems to have had a revival in that he is mostly peeing every day at the moment so his wee kidneys are doing better than they were. Fingers crossed.

Enjoy the last of the BF teapot2! Have to say I'll be glad when the city gets a bit quieter. My commute to/from work has more than doubled for the last few weeks!

Enjoy your coffee with your school friend!
