Glad I filled a hot water bottle for bed time last night as it was chilly and my feet were cold. For some reason I can't get to sleep if my feet are cold.

Its been a bit warmer this morning but raining as well. I did a bit of tidying and cleaning then family picked me up to go and watch wee one in her swimming lesson, she is doing well and loves the water. We had a quick jaunt to the GC and I bought a couple of packs of bulbs to put in. Was hoping to get wall flowers for some spring colour but they aren't in yet.

Then they came back for lunch so we finished off the soup I made the other day and shared a couple of eggy wraps I made quickly which Nadiya made on her programme recently. I wasn't expecting them for lunch so it was good to have some quick options available despite the cupboards being a bit bare. Soup was a bit messy with a tiny human but nothing that couldn't be scraped off or washed off :rotfl:.

I've just been working out my CC payments and debt reduction for when they are due so am clearer about how much I need for the middle of the month.

I'm going to do some shredding next and then am working from home for a bit later on and online shop arrives between 9 - 10pm but possibly earlier.

Ha well my shopping didn't arrive earlier but was in fact later. The driver was very stressed and apologetic so not sure what had happened and didn't want to add to his stress by asking. It was fine as I was just watching TV and chilling out. I forgot Bake Off was on but noticed in time to catch it on +1.

Am off to work shortly, leaving early again as not sure how long I might be held up by roadworks and diversions . My piece is made so ready to go. Am doing some work on Sky@e later so hoping to have time to get a meal ready for when I finish and to also cook a meal for the family to collect.

I've noticed that there are some more wee courgettes forming on the plant but it may be too late to get any - depends on the weather.

Banks are checked but just ticking along waiting for the DDs to come out

Been a full on few days workwise so very tired and glad its the weekend. All good though as will help with debt clearing once all are paid. I discovered why my bus is being diverted, I assumed it was roadworks but turns out its 'cos 'Fast and Furious number whatever' is being filmed :p:p

Had a wee long lie this morning which was good and the sun is shining :D. Went up the street to collect cat pills, post a small online sale and pay in some cash to the business account. Had a look in the charity shops and got a book which is on my wish list for work so pleased about that. Also bought some P@rsil which was on sale for £2.50 in the Co op down from £6 and the till spat out a coupon for money off loo roll which I'll use in the week.

Seems to be lots of huge spiders around in the house though I had a thought that they usually come in later than this? I found one galloping around my bedroom so had to catch it and put it outside or I couldn't settle. Dont mind sharing with smaller ones but not keen on the big, fast moving ones with eyes on stalks :eek:

Not much going on money wise, doing ok with surveys, Ugov is over 4K points, 1poll is at £18 and Prolific at £10+.

Am thinking of popping out and going brambling this afternoon for a wee while, not done that for a good few years :)

Is that what the East end of town is shut off? :p For some reason I find that hilarious! Not what I thought it was closed off for at all!

Good bargain on the P£rsil... which reminds me I need to get washing liquid. Thanks for the reminder!

I know, I found it funny too also not sure why - bit incongruous I suppose. Apparently lots of stunt doubles bouncing around Waterloo Place :rotfl::rotfl:

Got a good amount of brambles picked and a couple of windfall apples as well . Just need a few more brambles for my jam recipe so will get them later plus sugar which unfortunately cannot be legally foraged ;)

Am popping out to the farm shop later so will see if they have any otherwise will be a trip to @sda on the way home.

Need to wash the floors at some point as they are a bit nasty especially when the sun is shining as it is today. Anyhoo, best get on.

Sounding good, teapot! Laughing at the thought of Fast and Furious umpty umpt, and sadly with you on the huge spiders :( I've had very few in for the last few years, and maybe half a dozen this year :( the adrenalin surge isn't good for me! Nor for them, to be honest ...

    Have a lovely brambling!

Nice trip to farm shop and market yesterday and got some bargain plums which I'll stew and freeze to use over the winter.

Big old furry boy had a lovely day in the sun too moving from sun to shade after he'd got too hot then back again. He looks a bit like one of those pajama cases you used to get when he lies on his back and waves his legs in the air sunbathing :).

Got all the floors washed and dried so pleased to have done that, some tidying accomplished also. Noticed that tiny human had managed to slather soup under the chair pad they were sitting on earlier in the week :) No idea how they managed that so it has been through the WM and dried outside. Edited to clarify that I put the chair pad and not the baby in the WM!

Today its been raining for hours so if it stops I'll go and dig up the roots of the poppies in the back border. The ground has been too hard thus far and they are in an awkward spot. Will also do more brambling if its dryish as didn't get round to that y'day.

This morning checked the banks and £220 is in from the shares OH left me :). That will go towards clearing the debt and I look forward to a time when I can choose to save some of it or spend it on something other than debt

Going to make some soup now as its definitely soup weather ;)
