Busy start to the week with work but the work meeting I was due to attend this affy is cancelled so thats good :j It would have been 3 hours of commuting for a 1 hour meeting that I'm not paid to attend but obliged to go to :p.

Not much happening financially, all the CCs are paid for this month. I have a few work invoices waitng to be paid so my business account balance is looking a bit dire as I moved money out to cover bills.

Blooming cold here today as there is thick cloud so no sun, hoping that might shift later and warm up as I'm holding off putting the heating on. One of the smoke alarms was cheeping at me when I got up so have wobbled up the ladder and changed the battery. That seems to have sort of sorted it but it did give me a solitary chirp about 10 minutes ago

Am going for a haircut this morning, I just have a dry cut as my hair is short. Will roast a tray of veg when I get home and that will do a few meals and help to use up the couscous mountain :)

That cancellation sounds good :) thought the smoke alarm doesn't. Enjoy the afternoon - walk briskly, the heating can stay off a bit longer :)

Thanks, unfortunately I can't do 'brisk' even now but am certainly a lot faster than I was before the two surgeries when I was regularly overtaken by people using zimmer frames :rotfl:

Haircut done, costs £12 so not too bad ;). Roasted a tray of veg when I got home and had a chilled out afternoon. The sun came out and it warmed up a bit which is good.

Its that time of the year between seasons, there were butterflies around yesterday and lots of hover flies but also I saw my first 'V' of geese flying overhead.

Decided to have a reasonably healthy tea so cooked some puy lentils and mixed that with some of the roasted veg, added some feta and chopped up courgette and tomato, made a dressing and sprinkled over some nuts and seeds. Have got enough for tomorrow left over.

Had a Ugov survey earlier and a couple on 1poll but not much on Prolific though I just missed one this evening. Going out for a walk with family tomorrow as no work.

Had a lovely morning, we went on a fairy trail which the tiny human enjoyed a lot as did I seeing their enjoyment :smileyhea. We had lunch after, not my turn to pay so a NSD for me.

I cut the grass this afternoon and did a bit of weeding and tidying as well. Few surveys done and a check of the banks show that I accidentally managed to make 2 payments to my biggest CC in the last few days :( ah well, extra £70 paid but at least thats better than spending on it!!

Some shredding done and recycling put out for the morning. Long day at work tomorrow but last one before my week off so going to get my stuff ready for an early start.

Thanks KC, heading off tomorrow so will report back in a week. My first trip away since my surgeries so a bit nervous about negotiating a bus and 3 trains with my case and a stick. Looking forward to a break though.
