Thanks KC, I did get out in the end but when my alarm went off I snoozed it a couple of times then must have switched it off cos when I got up I thought it was about 9am and I'd managed a cheeky Sunday morning lie in. In fact it was nearly 10.30 so I must have fallen asleep again - can't remember the last time I did that, good job it wasn't a school day .
Decided I'd walk to @sda and go to the GC as well. Got a few bits in @sda and put a few things in the FB bin as well. After Beanie's post I also got 2 x 500g bags of sugar and noticed when I put them in that someone else had put bags of sugar in there too .
I got some wallflowers and Sweet William at the GC, had a £1 off voucher so cost £9 but will be a welcome bit of colour in the spring. They are going all out in the GC with their Christmas displays but its a bit OTT and looks like Santa has vomited :rotfl::xmastree:
I was going to have a cuppa as had a voucher for a free one but there was a huge queue so didn't fancy joining it and just walked home. Caught up with a few programmes I'd recorded and just chilled out this afternoon.
Cashed out £10+ on Prolific and paid that to the CC that finishes being % in a few months. One of the tiny humans is having a birthday tomorrow so need to write their card and find a bag for their pressie.0 -

Lovely! I have 3 family birthdays tomorrow, very odd - not done too badly on the preps either - hope the tiny human has a lovely time (and the surrounding humans too
).

3 birthdays goodness, well done on the prep considering you've been away  Got the date wrong, tiny human will be slightly less tiny tomorrow not today - my bad0 -

Thanks Chumpy, it was chilled. I suspect Santa will be vomiting all over the place in the coming months :rotfl:
Hope you can get out in the garden and the rain stops, has seemed never ending here.0 -
Work this morning, had an online sale when I got home and a message from the buyer asking if she could have it asap. I'd normally post the day after unless it coincides with a trip out but as it was urgent, I went out again and posted it first class. Hope they appreciate the customer service! Happily it was a sunny day and quite warm in the sun  so didn't mind going out again.
Had a wee look in the charity shop and found a book by an author I like so snaffled that. Chilled out when I got back for the second time.
Shopping delivery arrived and is all put away. I'm going to the tiny human's b'day tea tomorrow and making pudding and a meal for the family for another day so will do that tomorrow after I do some work from home.
Random fact, I watched a couple of gulls do that dancing thing on the grass where they drum their feet to lure worms up to the surface by pretending its raining. Quite amusing to watch - unless you're a worm :eek:0 -
Yesterday's birthday tea went well and the wee pressies I took round were very well received so am pleased they were a good choice. Pudding went down well too, I made sticky toffee pudding. I have a very reliable recipe and generally have all the ingredients in apart from double cream so its not too expensive to make and will feed 8 - 10 people
.
Nothing much happening money wise, I should be paid for one bit of work tomorrow so I might put some of that towards reducing my CCs a bit extra. I also need to pay for a workshop that I'm going to be doing for work and that will be £95.
I've done a few Prolific surveys and got a £1 survey on 1poll today which doesn't happen often. I had another couple of online sales which I posted today so thats been a few this week which will help to replenish my online sales account which I plundered to put towards the 'pay it off' CC.
I've decided and let people know that I'm not buying pressies for adults this Xmas other than a few small bits and pieces and will just get a few things for the tiny humans.
Don't have any work tomorrow but need to do some housework particularly washing the floors - the joy. Might get some time in the garden too depending on the weather.0 -
Good decision on presents.
