Thanks KC, he is a sweet boy, all day he's insisted on either sitting on me or if I'm at the table, on a chair right next to mine

What a change in the weather, today is freezing cold, windy and sideways rain. I was hoping to go out but haven't ventured over the doorstep other than to rescue my trough of salad leaves which I've put in the shed for now as they were getting uprooted by the wind and rain  Also refilled the bird feeder when I was out, poor wee speugs were getting blown about this morning trying to feed.
I put the heating on for a few hours but its off now and am sitting with a hot water bottle wedged up my jumper to keep warm
Had a Ugov survey for 50 points and a few on 1poll. Nothing on Prolific today so far. I've moved money around various accounts to get rewards or interest. Matched betting is up to £219.60.
Going to do some shredding next as its paper recycling on Friday and I'm still working my way through OH's files. My T@sco shopping has arrived and been put away so fridge restocked. Was so cold today I fancied soup but didn't have anything in I could turn into soup - definitely not salad weather.0 -
Wow, matched betting looking fab :T
My paper bucket was full this week.
One of my neighbout kindly let me put copious amounts of shredding in her binI am a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Mortgage Free Wannabe & Local Money Saving Scotland & Disability Money Matters. As the weather had calmed down I was able to put all the recycling out and got rid of more shredded paper. Am currently shredding OH's 2004 files
Met a friend for coffee when I got home after work - not seen her for ages so it was good to have a catch up. Then sat in the garden and finished my book before tea.
Hoping to do some weeding and planting over the weekend. Had quite a few surveys but nothing new to report on the money front. My vacuum hose has split which is annoying, I taped it up with duck tape but that didn't work so will have to think again.
Going to watch a bit of TV then head to bed....0 -
Not been a great weekend, have felt quite low but just stayed with it.
I did do quite a bit in the garden today and planted some bedding after I'd cleared the space. Felt better being outside and in the garden.
Not much else to report, have done a wee bit of matched betting so getting through the offers slowly.
I've been putting my spends for food and cat pills etc on a separate CC so have paid that off in full rather than adding to the amount I owe on the 0% cards.
Got an email from Circle to say they are stopping the cash transfer part of their service. I guess this will mean the only option on Prolific will be to use Paypal and pay fees. According to the email
'We will continue to work toward connecting every person on the planet through an open financial system built on crypto assets and blockchain technology through fiat tokens and stablecoins'.
Am I the only person who has no idea what that means? :rotfl:0 -
Sorry to hear you were so low, teapot, hope you're feeling a bit better today.
As for the statement from Circle :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: crypto currencies are by definition "fiat" currencies (as in, "let there be light" "let this thing be worth that amount, not backed by any collateral") and they're strangers to the FCA or whatever they're calling themselves now - are you transferring out the profits regularly?2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Sorry to read that you are not at your best.
Keep ploddingxx

Yes with both P@ypal and Circle any money from Prolific that lands in there gets whizzed out to my account very speedily. It was handy having Circle as they don't have any charges unlike P@ypal though £20 was the minimum you could cashout.
And yes, better day thanks :cool:0 -
So, feeling less down today. Met a friend for lunch - her turn to pay. Was really good to catch up but emotional as she has not had great health [emotional is fine even when it dilutes the soup
].
After that I had a work related meeting in the same town and that was helpful as I wanted to think about 'putting myself out there' to get more work. I know I've been resisting this but am not sure why so it was good to explore that a bit. Still not 100% clear but I'll ponder.......
On way home went to T@sco to get fruit as am running out so not a NSD but a LSD at 84p.
Did a bit of weeding when I got home and then found I had a online sale so wil post that tomorrow. Not very high value but it was given to me by a friend to sell so after postage anything is profit .
Its still light here at 10.30 so was able to spot a snail climbing the wall to munch my clematis flowers which have been looking very ragged . I have dispatched it into the garden waste bin and will take a bagfull down to the woods and release them. I cant bear to kill them but will relocate them and hope they are not homing snails :rotfl:
In other wildlife news there has been no further sighting of the rat so am thinking it must have been passing through :eek:0
