To me that says you're juggling a lot, without the foundations in place. That very thing - cancelling cards using your phone - is one thing I prepared for on that Norwegian cruise I did last year. And me and my sister shared the numbers, so if one of us lost our phone as well as our card, we could still call out. I was thinking of rough seas and dropping things overboard
it did help to feel secure with that. It won't cost you anything to find those numbers right now, have them on your phone, and make a note on your landline phone or even just a piece of paper. Take care.

The weird thing KC is that I do have the numbers noted down in RL, it was just in my dream that I couldn't get through :eek:0 -
Went to the local opticians this morning with family and chose new frames. Then went for a coffee - not my tun to pay. Also to PO to post online sale. Haircut after that so busy morning.
Did a washing and hoovered this afternoon then long chat with a friend who is recently home from hospital.
The Asd@ order arrived around 7.30 so put that away and cooked veg risotto for tea plus a meal for family to collect tomorrow after I put a potato topping on it.
When I checked my bank a dividend from the shares OH left me has been paid in so that will cover my new specs :cool:0 -
That's interesting about the phone thing being done in RL! Same interpretation for me, though - and you're focussing on the phones maybe *because* you've done it? Never interpret over the internet, so says the lovely Captain Awkward, so I'll shut up - it's your dream, you know yourself
Excellent news about the dividend!2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Met up with my sis for a catch up as its been a while. Got a couple of pots of rhubarb to plant with a garden voucher from Xmas.
Quiet day otherwise, working tomorrow so will make sarnies and have an early night.0 -
The Prolific payout landed in Circle y'day so transferred that to my CC along with the interest and cashback from the Spanish bank. Total paid off was £25.24 and I am stupidly excited to finally be able to pay off extra on top of the minimum :j
The joys of being self employed - I finally got paid for February on 22nd of this month and then got paid for March yesterday. My business account is looking healthier so I transferred some money to my current acct to cover next months bills. Its tricky sometimes not having a regular pay day.
Today I made soup with lots of veg then listed some books online and caught up with emails. Seemed to be a mild and sunny morning and the plan was to get out and do some weeding however the weather changed really suddenly to being cloudy, cold and very wet so no gardening done.
Instead I spent the afternoon going through OH's CD collection, I'll sell some of them even if its only for pennies and the rest can go to the CS. Found it quite difficult but have tried not to let it get to me, reckon I'm only about halfway through the CDs as there are many!!0 -
More sorting out today, discovered a shelf with even more CDs hidden behind some books  so spent much of the day sorting out.
I've checked the CDs and a few DVDs on 3 different sites and have got almost 130 inputted for sale providing they are accepted once they arrive. Was quite surprised how one site would say they didn't normally accept this item but they would do a favour and take it for recycling yet another site would offer £1.50 for the same thing :T.
I checked the items that were attracting the highest prices and have kept some back to try on Amazon or ebay myself. So if it all goes through I should get around £40 back. Still have around 70 CDs to go to CSs.
Have made the veg and veg mince bit of lasagne and will assemble that tomorrow, I'm working late 2 evening this week so will be handy to have something prepared. I've only got soya milk but not made sauce with that before so will be interested to see how it works out.
Been chilling this evening and watching some TV that I'd recorded.0 -
You're doing so well with the CDs - it'll be nice to open the house up, have it airier, less stuff in for the dust to settle on (you can tell I have the same "unused stuff" problem!).
Hope work goes well.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Thanks KC there was certainly LOTS of dust  There is still lots of stuff but I'll get there if I keep plugging away.........0

So today I checked and packed 3 different boxes of CDs to be sent off. Took a while to find enough boxes but got there in the end. I've filled the spaces in the boxes with shredded paper so thats got rid of some more.
One box will be collected by courier on Wednesday and 2 are going Collect+ tomorrow. I've also got a couple of bags of CDs and DVDs to go to CSs. After the packing I hoovered everywhere, even under the settee  and had a dust round. Looks much better
Finished making the lasagne I started yesterday, the soya sauce worked well and I put a bit of M@rmite in to add flavour.
Have just remembered that I washed the bedclothes this morning so better go and remake my bed0
