Not a great sleep last night, it feels much colder today here. This morning, 2 boxes have gone via Collect+ and 2 large bags of CDs and videos delivered to the CS thanks to niece driving me :kisses3:
We had a wander round one of the local community gardens after which is looking great. Last summer you could go down and pick the veg you wanted and give them a donation so am hoping they do the same in a few months.
Although all those CDs have been cleared, it doesn't feel like there is much more space yet. I still have the 4 CD racks they were in which is taking up the same space even though empty IYSWIM. Thought I might give them a clean and put them for sale on FB as they are very versatile in how they can be stacked or fitted side by side and even fixed on the wall. If they don't go I'll CS them.
Have done a 160 point YouGov survey this morning so that takes me to well over halfway to cashing out.
Am working late afternoon/evening so going to have a bigger lunch than usual to keep me going. Off to check the fridge0 -

Hailstones? Yikes
Community gardening initiatives can be great, can't they, teapot? In the town where my mum was, there were lovely deep planters on the station platforms, with notices saying to help yourself to the veg.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Yes its a lovely idea the community garden, we're lucky to have 2 round here plus there are allotments and I read someone else was asking if there was interest in more allotments being started - they're not council ones. I went past the community garden y'day afternoon and there was a sign that salad was for sale if you wanted to pick some. can't get fresher than that
Am off to work in a bit but just checked my bank and the CT has come out - £9 more this month and from then it will be £5 a month more than last year. I pay over 12 months so it feels a bit relentless. I heard a bit on the radio about all the things that have gone up this month and it was a bit scary. I wont be affected by all as we don't pay prescription charges here and I don't have a car but I know my CT, TV licence, BT, Sky etc are all going up.
Right I'll be back later, rant over... glad to say it feels a wee bit warmer or should I say less cold today and no snow this morning , been a very chilly wind too the last few days. Laters......0 -

Ah yes my mobile bill has gone up as well this month I forgot about that in my list of price rises and the big old furry boy's tablets have gone up as well
Really not nice weather today, cold, very wet and foggy. Waited to see if the rain would stop - it didn't so ventured out in the afternoon and got a bus to the supermarket as needed to get some bits for making curry as family coming to lunch tomorrow
Curry made, watched BGT and chilled out this evening.0 -
Still not great weather, very cold and foggy - sort of gets into your bones chilly  Still went for a walk in the wood with family then back to mine for curry followed by apple crumble and custard
Spent quite a bit of time filling in a form, scanning documents and updating my CV this afternoon then emailed them in the hope of getting some work. Listed some of OHs CDs online after that.
Had pasta for tea with wild garlic pesto that someone gave me - VERY garlicky  so luckily am not working tomorrow :rotfl:0 -
It's foggy here too now - not very, but enough so that everything looks very bleak, unfortunately. As long as it doesn't rain while I'm taking things out to my sister's car, I don't mind
Your family time sounds great. My wild garlic has now naturalised in my garden, but I've yet to make anything from it. I'm glad it tastes so good though.2023: the year I get to buy a car0
