I don't know about Helena, but you certainly got the attention of a lot of subscribers to this 40 page thread about smart meters.

Well, we're all at least half way through the non smart meter eon contract now, this 'eon' smart meter thread will be obsolete soon, even Malcolm doesn't care anymore!

Fair comment! Unless I'm mistaken I think the optional smart meter contracts were all one year fixes. In the unlikely event Ofgem ever acts on the misleading E.on comms, the contracts will probably be expired by then.

Well mine is a year, too early for me to look around for what next, mines due at end of December, I've no doubt we'll all have to have one at some point unfortunately, the least I can hope is all the functionality issues have been ironed out, as regard the other issues, well, it looks like we're all going to hell in a hand cart anyway. 🙄

I think Helena said he has retired.  He must have had the patience of an angel.  I am sorry I missed the opportunity to wish him a happy retirement and hope Helena will pass that on at some point.

Oh right, well that'll explain why he was so helpful, if he was of a certain age he'll understand what customer service is supposed to be like, actually helping people rather than just finding the quickest way to get out of a situation that requires the slightest effort.
