It's shocking, because the council have started charging to take away large items round here (due to budget cuts) then people just tip it at the side of the road, it drives me mad! xxDebt £30,823.48/£44,856.56 ~ 06/02/21 - 31.28% Paid OffMortgage (01/04/09 - 01/07/39)

Yes our council charge for large items....but a fire extinguisher ?? surely that could have been taken to the tip? And where on earth did the traffic light come from??:rotfl:DMP 2015 £57,549, now £36,112 (37% paid)

My council charges for bulky items too, but it's free to take them to the tip. Otherwise charities will accept good condition stuff, or offer it on freecycle. There's no excuse for flytipping or littering.
Happy payday! Glad you are feeling better too x"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -

Wouldn't be surprised if someone stole it from some temporary road works and just dumped it by the canal...you know how stupid some people can be.DMP 2015 £57,549, now £36,112 (37% paid)

Not a lot happening at the moment. Another grey and wet day.
I had to go to a training session this morning on safeguarding. It is something I have done many times before, but like a lot of these trainings, it has to be kept up to date. I work with people with dementia, so it is an important one. At least I got paid for it, so an extra few hours wages.
Nipped for a few bits of food on the way home and now just listed a couple of items on FB selling pages and looks like one is sold already.:T The lady says she will come between 4 & 5pm, so fingers crossed she turns up. Its only £5, but its an extra £5 I didn't have this morning and I have several different places it can be used.
OH is outside repairing his bike at last. So hopefully that will go ok and he will be able to start riding again soon.
So not doing much for the rest of today, but then tomorrow I really am going to get that sorting out of holiday clothes and start packing to go away. Fingers crossed, that this time next week we will be on our way for a few days of relaxation.
Hope everyone is having a good weekend so far.DMP 2015 £57,549, now £36,112 (37% paid)

We are booked to go to Costa Del Sol for a few days...Benalmadena. Managed to get an absolute steal of a deal and had it booked for ages. I know its naughty going away when you have debts, but I really think it will do us good. Hoping we make it, although TBH, I may try and gt in Dr's tomorrow. I suffer from IBS and the last couple of weeks have had some really bad symptoms and just want to make sure it is IBS and nothing worse. Been getting a bit paranoid about something happening and ending up in a Spanish hospital or something. Symptoms just seem worse than normal and dragging on such a long time. I'm sure its nothing, but I do find that as I have got older I worry more about things like this....don't know why.
Managed 20 mins on the treadmill yesterday and would have done more, but had to stop to get the tea. Not been on it yet, but hoping to have a go in a bit. Need to buy a new pedometer as mine seems to be rubbish and I am trying to keep a count of how many steps I do in a day and I think it only counts some of them.DMP 2015 £57,549, now £36,112 (37% paid)

Holiday sounds fab, glad you got a bargain.
Hope you are feeling a bit better soon. It might just be a combination of your other illness and being a bit run down. I get anxious about stuff like that too, and it's worth checking it out before you go away."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do".
