I'm sure they will eventually, there is no way I am paying that....well to start with we don't actually have that amount of money....lol. It was 2 separate accounts and one of them, they were saying they would accept £6000 in a lump sum....:rotfl: Can you imagine me having that amount of money lying around??:rotfl: If we had savings like that, we would never have got in this situation in the first place would we? Morning everybody. Feeling quite a bit better today...long may it last.:)
Well todays plans are...
Washing already on, so just need to get it dried, either on airers indoors or on the line, but not sure how much it would dry outside.
Still got some ironing to do from the other day.:(
Quick hoover if I have the energy
Few bits to do on the computer....including looking at where we can make another F&F, seeing as the others were rejected.
Dinner to prepare...not actually sure what we are having tonight.
Then I might make a coffee and watch an episode of Marie Kondo. I love her, find her quite inspirational.
Oh and maybe some treadmill and Wii, if I can manage it. Think it will do me good and actually help me to feel better. Once I am 100%, I intend to aim for my 10000 steps a day if possible. Not sure how it will work, but will keep trying. In the past I have found that real life gets in the way of exercise, but think I need to re-prioritise and put myself first.
Hope you all have a good day.DMP 2015 £57,549, now £36,112 (37% paid)

I made an offer to one creditor and they told me they would accept £200 less than I owed on a £4k debt :rotfl: I still have that one funnily enough."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". It is mad isn't it with these creditors? Do they not realise that the reason we are paying small payments, is because we don't have the money? Where on earth do they think we are going to get that sort of money from? :rotfl:DMP 2015 £57,549, now £36,112 (37% paid)

I think they offer better f & f's the further down the line you are.. I've been on a dmp since 2013 and have only received one direct offer, I think it was about 60% to pay... unfortunately I have other things to spend my money on at the moment....
I am hopeful that by the time I have finished buying university's here and in the USA I can then save and by then they will be desperate for anything I can offer...!!! :rotfl:
Good Luck.

Well I managed to get a few bits off my list completed yesterday, so that was good.
We have been going to bed at 9pm all this week as both so tired since feeling ill. Think it is doing us good and I am definitely sleeping a bit better this week....although OH is currently in the spare room until we both feel 100% better, so that might have something to do with me sleeping better...:rotfl: Can't hear him snoring or feel him tossing and turning...can still hear him coughing a lot though...lol Even with the extra sleep, I still can't say as I feel totally better yet. Seem to find it hard to get going in the mornings and tired again by tea time. Probably just need some sunshine and a bit more exercise.
So today's plans are to definitely get on the treadmill and get the Wii out for a bit of exercise.
Hoover the bedrooms and landing.
Damp dust all the sides down....my allergies hate dust!
Dentist this afternoon, to see about my broken bit of tooth.
Start on some decluttering with a bit more gusto...think I haven't been doing enough. After watching Marie Kondo yesterday, I can see that I really should go through all my clothes again...well maybe OH's as well....lol. I know that once I start to declutter, the whole house will get done over the next few weeks and I will feel loads better. Might not do it all in the same order as Marie suggests, but I will get it done. We did it a couple of years ago, but definitely let things slide a bit.
Need to check bank accounts today and see what's what, as its OH's payday today.

Well managed to move another £5 into the EF and paid £2 overpayment on the mortgage...every little helps. Would have been more, but OH lost a days wages last week when he took a day off to help get our this virus.
Not bothered that its only small amounts as we will get there in the end.DMP 2015 £57,549, now £36,112 (37% paid)

I'm hoping for the same, it's going to be a while before they get much from me!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
Morning everybody, well apart from the decluttering, I managed everything on yesterday's list. So not a bad day. I even managed some Tai Chi exercises and some yoga on the Wii Fit. :j
Dentist has put a temporary filling over where the outise of my tooth broke...already a filling in the middle. But he says obviously, this is not a permanent solution and he will talk to me next time about what we can do. I absolutely hate having dental treatment and get so worked up about it. But since discovering this lovely dentist a couple of years ago, I at least know he will do a good job and he understands my fears.
Woke up this morning when the alarm went off and went back to sleep.....oops, next thing I heard was OH going out the door to work. Never mind, I obviously needed the sleep and it is helping me to recover.
So plans for today are to go out and get a few bits of shopping. I've only been out about 5 times since Christmas, and 3 of those were to the doctor's and hospital. So this will be a bit of an outing and will either boost my energy or completely shatter me....lol. Don't need much shopping, but it is one of those lists where I can't get everything in one place...
Then the rest of the list looks like this...
Check bank accounts and see where I can pay extra off things.
Bit more exercising and maybe some treadmill
Washing
Polish and hoover the lounge
Work out a proper decluttering list so I am not just randomly doing odd cupboards here and there.
Make shepherds pie for tea.
Keeping the lists short at the moment until I feel 100% better.
Have a good day everyone:)DMP 2015 £57,549, now £36,112 (37% paid)
