    Glad all is well :)

    That's a great result on the F&F, hope you get the 25% :T :T

Been busy the last few days, so not posted much.

W*sc*t say they will send our 25% offer to their client (Ll*yds) for consideration. :)
In the meantime, we have had letters from C*b*t. They have only just started managing 3 of our debts that were with W*sc*t. They have offered a 30% deal on 2 of them. Problem is as one of these especially is a massive debt, even 30% is more than we have at the moment. I am desperately trying to work out how we can do this as if we could it would be a massive saving of nearly £5K on these 2. Not quite sure what the answer is, but I am working on it, as I am determined we should take advantage of this offer. We have until the end of the month to decide.

Still continuing with the decluttering and spring cleaning. :) Off to the Dr today for the breathing test that the Dr said was urgent back in January when I had that bad chest infection. My breathing is fine now....lol. Just shows the state of the NHS that I had to wait this long.

Got one of my GS's after school tonight. The other twin is going to football with SIL. They are ardent MU supporters and MU are playing against Barcelona tonight, :j so that is GS's dream as apparently Barcelona are his 2nd favourite team, so he tells me.....He is going to love it.

Well, best get on with a few bits before I go down the Dr's.....even though Wednesday's are supposed to be "my" day and no housework was going to take place. I do need to do a couple of quick bits first thing. Hopefully I will be more organised next week. Have a good day everyone. :)

It's good that they are making the F&F offer, even if you are not in a position to take it at the moment.

  • Back to normal after the weekend....:). Not much to report really. Had a weekend of spring cleaning and decluttering and gardening..although we did also walk round the car boot and bought a large photo frame £2, bird nesting box £5...beautifully hand made, a tool to get weeds out of the patio £1.50 and a couple of bits for the GS's 50p each. Also got 2 very large plastic tubs for 50p for taking my peelings to my friends house to be composted. So quite pleased with my bargains...Oh yes...and a Lavender in a pot for £1.50.

Still waiting to hear back from W/C*t. Really wanted to be able to take C*b*t up on their offer, but just don't have that kind of cash at the moment. At least we know they would be open to offers in the future though. :T
So lots of housework today and a bit more clearing out. Found a lovely FB group which is local and gifts stuff on to people, so if its not up to being sold I can at least send things to a good home and not have to bin it....I am loathe to throw anything away these days, now I am on my zero waste and save the planet roll! :)
Will look at finances later as want to do another mortgage OP and need to sort out all my saving pots etc.

Hope everybody else is having a good day and had a good weekend. :)

    Wow, what a good day...
2 items sold on selling sites:T
£5 more over payment on mortgage:T
And....managed to get C*b*t to agree to let us pay their settlement figure spread over 6 months!...This is all down to Jwil, as I saw a mention of a 6 monthly offer on her diary and realised it must be the same company as it was for the same %. So a big thankyou to her, otherwise I might not have thought to contact them and ask about spreading it over 6 months. I was worrying about not being able to afford their offer and knowing it was such a good offer I didn't want to turn it down. Overall it will knock £3K off our total. Also they will look at the other 2 accounts as well, as soon as we can afford to come to an agreement on them....I said I could only afford to pay 1 at a time.....lol. They asked where the money was coming from and I said a relative and that I didn't have to pay it back, so all was fine....:T:T:T:rotfl::beer::j

Must dash as OH has just come home from work. Hope you all have a good evening.

  • Well another £5 paid off the mortgage over payment :T. Been so busy lately not had time to come online and catch up.
Just found out recently that I will be losing one of my part time jobs for definite at the end of June. So have to do a sit down and review finances etc and see how that is going to affect things. Not come at the best time as we have just agreed the C*b*t deal to be paid over 6 months. Hey ho, such is life

Not much more to report at the moment, so will update again soon.
