  • Well another £10 overpayment made off the mortgage this morning. Love seeing the amount in my signature rising.:T Not so sure if I will be paying off so much once April starts and the Council Tax and Water rates kick back in again. Also got OH's BIG birthday coming up in November and I have a little treat of a trip away to pay for. :)

Still not sure what is happening with my 2 jobs, so just keeping my fingers crossed. Looks as though I could have one of them till about July, but really not sure about the other one....(the one I like best), as the girl who is in charge is leaving:( and not sure who will take over and what it will be like. Also I have fears that dwindling numbers may mean that the group can no longer carry on....we will see.

Well best get ready for work. Enjoy your day everyone. :)

Well done on the mortgage overpayment :T

I always send in an up to date I&E with my F&Fs, it shows them that if they don't accept it they won't be getting their money back for a long time! I agree, they don't make it easy do they

  • Well it was a good weekend. Had youngest GS for a few hours on Saturday morning, while the other 2 played football. He is 3 in June and so cute now, just getting to that lovely stage where he uses his imagination when playing. We had to play with diggers and lorries...and the lorry kept falling down the slope and he shouted...."Send for the fire engine..."..:rotfl:

Got a few kitchen cupboards sorted out yesterday and will be taking a few bits to the CS later.

Got up and got on with a lot of cleaning first thing. Washing was on the line just after 8am. Just about to hoover lounge and stairs and then get washed and dressed and then down to the village to collect fruit/veg order and drop off CS stuff.
Then got a few bits to do on computer before GS's come after school.

Going to reply to M**rcr*ft with the I&E they are asking for and reiterate that if they do not accept our offer it will take 23 years to clear our small debt...bearing in mind I am already 61, I think they really should think about accepting it...:rotfl: Hoping to clear that one and then we can concentrate on the bigger ones.

Have a good day everyone. :)

  • Not been around for a few days...real life gets in the way sometimes:rotfl:. Been a good week. DS and DIL dropped in on there way on a short break, which was lovely as don't see them enough. After their short break, they headed down to Bristol for a night as DS (he's in the RAF), had to attend an awards night. He had been nominated for some work he has done as a volunteer. Well, I am pleased and very, very proud to announce that he won! :T:T:):):T:beer: To say I am proud of him, is an understatement. :)

This morning I have had #2 GS and we watched Mary Poppins Returns.....really lovely film and certainly lives up to the first one. I was worried as sometimes a sequel is never as good as the first, but this was excellent. :T

On the financial front, M**rcr*ft have written again asking for an I&E...didn't give me long to reply to the last letter....:rotfl:. They also want to know; if they do not accept our offer, what will our offer of monthly payments be then. Sounds to me like they are desperate and worrying we will drop our payments...:rotfl: so I am going to send that I&E off ASAP and see what they say.

Just listed a few bits to sell on FB selling pages, so lets see what results that brings.
Few more jobs to do now, maybe a walk if the sun stays out.

Have a good day everyone. :)

Good luck with the sales, get that I&E sent in and see if you can tweak it so their monthly payment is lower! :D

Yes, I will get it done in a bit. The sales are going well, 2 items sold within couple of hours of listing and a message this morning about another one. Funny how sometimes nothing sells and other times you could sell the same item 10 times over.

  • M**rcr*ft letter written and waiting to go to the post box. Have enclosed an I&E, showing that we will be dropping their payments to £1 a month, so it is in their best interest to accept our offer....:rotfl:. W*sc*t also written and asked for I&E, as apparently it is the time of year to review our account. So I think I will just send an I&E to all DCA's now and see if it promotes any offers of F&F's.
Another £5 overpayment made on the mortgage today. :T
Got a few admin type things to do on computer this morning and need to order some vitamin C supplement and a couple of other bits.
Bedroom needs a good tidy and clean, as does the kitchen floor.
Washing needs to be hung on the airer to dry as it is throwing it down with rain at the moment.
The treadmill is crying out to be used as I haven't been on for a few days...:(
So off to get that washing sorted then onto the treadmill before starting the jobs.

Have a good day everyone. :)

  • Well House of Commons didn't disappoint yesterday, did it? :rotfl: They really need to get a shift on and get their act together. Although I must admit I did feel sorry for Theresa May, she didn't sound at all well. You have to admire her for soldiering on.

Another wet and windy day,:( but I need to nip out to get some GF bread and a few other bits and post all my I&E letters. There is a post box just round the corner, but I only have 1 stamp and 5 letters, so need to buy stamps as well.
Not feeling 100% today, but can't exactly say why. You know when you have a few silly little symptoms that don't seem to go together but make you feel definitely not right? I lost so much weight after I had the chest infection and then the tummy bug....about half a stone, and even though I am eating now, I can't seem to put it back on and I can't really afford to have lost it, I am 5' 9" and always been thin for my height, but now I am down to just below 9st and I really need that extra half stone back. Must be eating the wrong things. :rotfl:

Well, best get on as few things to do. :)
