Yes because I can’t put it on the market again now without a kitchen. They have been phoning me upset because they are now out of pocket and she’s pregnant and asked why I wasn’t just honest at first; well because they wouldn’t of bought it?

So do I have to pay for a new kitchen? I can prove they ripped it out because they sent messages and asking what time they could drop the key back off.

I cant get over how you are annoyed that they are pulling out because you tried to hide a major flaw in the house.

While this is more than likely a fake thread, its a case of karma. You tried to screw them over and in the end got bit in the ars*. (fully deserved as well)

No. You can sell without a kitchen. There's no legal requirement to have one. Your fault; your mess to clean up

you can sell but buyers cannot get a mortgage if there is no kitchen. so cash buyers only
You're not your * could have not of * Debt not dept *

Trying to get a young pregnant couple a criminal conviction - nice, bet your parents would be proud of you.

Also, you can prove they ripped it out because you have messages they sent asking what time they could drop your key off?? ...there's dumb and then there's this guy!

    Definitely can't be true!
  • You should definitely be able to claim from them for a replacement kitchen. If they're not willing to pay up front then you can have a kitchen installed and then have them billed by the installer / supplier and it will be legally binding.

Can’t I claim that they damaged the house that wasnt their house? Criminal damage? I’m not sure.

There's only one criminal (scumbag) here and it's not them. This has to be a wind up because nobody can possibly be this stupid in real life.

Advice needed please, I hope it’s what I want to hear.

I recently accepted an offer on my late parents house. It’s been empty for 4 years since my father passed away and did need quite a lot of work. Had it on the market 13 months lowered price by 20k and finally accepted an offer from young family in October.
Between me and my late mum we made several claims for subsidence during the past 10 years due to cracks in the cellar (floor to ceiling ones) we covered these with a blue sheet for viewings as didn’t want to put people off.
Our buyers seemed really keen to have a project and I offered them to come In rip out the kitchen and bathroom before exchange so they could move quicker and also hoped this would mean the subsidence wouldn’t put them off.
The claims have now come to light and they’ve informed me they want to pull out??? Can I sue them for the kitchen being ripped out as I told them verbally so they don’t have any proof I agreed to it?
    Thanks

Thanks everyone not what I wanted to hear but going to appeal to their morals that they did rip it out and see if they will have a kitchen put back in. Thanks
    Wait what?

Step 1. Hide massive problem with house.
Step 2. Give prospective buyer keys, invite them in to rip out kitchen.
Step 3. Prospective buyer sees massive problem with house now it is not hidden.
Step 4. Prospective buyer goes "stuff this for a game of soldiers, we haven't exchanged, this is still your house about which you lied to us" and gives you your keys back.
Step 5. You ponder fitting them up.
Step 6. You ponder asking them to fit a new kitchen in your house after you lied to them.

Class, can anyone guess what the prospective buyer will say in Step 7? I'll give you a clue: it ends in "off".
