https://www.findmysupplier.energy/ now shows Ovo as the gas supplier for the account we had with Economy Energy.

I guess that means its ok for is to switch that fuel to another provider now.

I see Ovo are also now saying:

We’re aiming to have everything switched over by the 2nd February, so you’ll receive your welcome pack before then

I received my first request for a reading this morning, once I logged in it was for electricity only. Will the gas be added separately ?

Gas often takes longer to clear the readings-validation process - up to six weeks. It will be added separately but it might be a good idea to submit the gas meter reading at the same time if the online account will let you.

I would suggest sending both readings by email and update your online account when possible. Gas will probably be listed by tomorrow.

My gas went to EDF last week but electric still pending.. Ovo 32% higher than my ee tariff so they'll not be rushing I expect. Was told by Ovo yesterday to cancel my tf to EDF! Said up to 6 more weeks b4 Ovo will be done.

Though I had a different supplier ( one select then Together energy) I have just completed a switch to Pure Planet which conducts all their accounts using apps on either smart phones or tablets only. I noticed whilst reading through this thread that one post suggested providing a photo of your actual first meter reading, Pure Planet not only recommends this but requires it which seems to me to be an excellent idea.
