    Morning all.

Full day at the chalkface then food tasting tonight.

DW emptied, WM > TD then TD emptied and folded so no ironing - all folded/airing on the maiden.

    Condolences Kazw

    Have a good day all

  • Big hugs to everyone this morning. I think we all need to sit down for a coffee together and share some love.

    This should be my 'free' flying day today, but I have a major work issue to deal with. My daily puzzle page today has a quote from Henry Kisenger;

'There cannot be a crisis next week, my schedule is already full'

Never was a truer word said. I believe I shall be using this one a lot, especially with my boss, she will appreciate it.

Today, after sorting work stuff out I want to do my daily job, spend some time in the cellar (HHC anyone?) and have a mooch round some clothes shops for me. I may go and hit the land of lakes to see what's in their sale, I have a voucher that I can use from the 15th so I suspect it's sale time now until then.

(((Hugs))) for kazw - so sorry to hear your news, but glad you managed to see your father before you went away.

    My list for today:
    - Strip spare beds
    - WMx2, TDx2
    - Pack bags for toddler group
    - Quick walk for me while Rosie runs up and down the hills in the woods
    - Take DH to horsepiddle appointment
    - Early lunch (leftovers from Tuesday night)
    - Run Toddler Group
    - I have a team meeting straight afterwards noted in my diary, but nobody else seems to have heard about it - our vicar is not a good administrator!
    - Another quick walk with Rosie before it gets dark
    - Finish tidying and cleaning upstairs (the bathroom floor still needs to be done)
    - Re-make spare beds

I told DH yesterday that I am going on strike from the beginning of next week if he does not get his application for restoration of his driving licence sent off by the end of this week ;) At least he found the papers out yesterday evening, though I don't think he's quite finished filling them in yet....

Lots of ((hugs)) for dancemum and for kaz. Welcome back, Kaz.

Due to the way the days have fallen, today is my first day back at job 2. I know there is lots (some might say too much...) to get done.
Fingers crossed that the boiler will be sorted today. DH is wfh to deal with it.
Wm run and washing hung indoors. HHI done, dw emptied. Everything else will have to wait until I get home.
    Keep warm everyone.

Oh thanks for the hint. What did you do with it once you'd got it out?

I can't get the disc itself out of the bit it lives in, but the whole section is only about 7cms x 10cms x 0.5cms so I'll just keep it along with tax papers, bits of cut up credit cards etc in the attic for now. I did everything on that laptop so I daren't let it out of the house.

Huge congratulations to Mr Ionafan on his 'Slimmer of the Week' award. I hope it inspires him to fill that driving licence form in.

    (((Hugs))) Dancemum.

Today I must do at least 3 x WM and peg it all out, clean the oven and the kitchen sink, and clear some of the files in my intray. It's all a bit urgent now.
    Better is good enough.

Morning everyone. Afraid I haven’t really done much flying the past few days. I’m still trying to get a balance between “work” and home. Finding it a wee bit hard at the moment, but I’ll get there eventually.

I’ve decluttered a lot of sleep this morning if that counts as flying…:D

Dancemum sorry to hear about dancepops, hugs honey xx
My condolences on your sad loss Kaz, huge hugs.
Wow can’t believe AGS will be leavinging school. It doesn’t seem possible, when did he get this age.. I also think it’s the start of a new chapter in your life too Kaz without him. :)

I’m shivering at the thought of all those that are hanging their washing outside today, it’s way too cold to even contemplate hanging mine outside. It would end up freezing just hanging on the line… Much safer hanging it on the airer indoors in the heat. :D

Well I’m having an hour’s time out with a cuppa and Banjidog snuggle time before I get going and shower etc. My excuse is it’s my day off and I’m going to do exactly what I want..well within reason lol.:rotfl:

As a cleaning beginner, can you tell me how you clean the loo with the zoflora? (One of my fav products). Do you spray over and wipe with loo roll or cloth?
I use a large capful of Zoflora and fill up the sprayer with water, spray it liberally on all areas and use a cloth to wipe in/off. If I just want to do lid, seat and flusher, I’ll use some loo roll to wipe over. Also once the loo has been flushed I just lift the lid and spray a little in (as a kind of freshener.) It’s what works for you :)

  • Sorry to hear about your fathers KazW and Dancemum.

No flying here again today been to see relative and see the nursing home manager to complain, this is taking up so much more of my time than usual. :( Almost time to collect DD2 but I've managed to get Dailies done.
