Oh my days - you lucky mare! I've been up since six, as usual.

I've had a nightmare few days with no sleep Saturday as stuck in A&E and non-stop with animals, hospitals etc. the OH is working at home today so he did the horses, tortoise, chickens and dogs. I'm grateful that he was able to help today.

I'm up now and working. ;)

    Level 1

    [STRIKE] Shine the sink
Clean the loo inside and out - scrub that rim
    Wipe the light pull
Wash out grimy, gungy toothbrush holders - and is it time to change toothbrushes?
    [/STRIKE]
    Level 2

Clear the bath and clean it completely
    [STRIKE]Clear the shower cubicle/screen
Waggle a fine bottle brush down the plughole and pull back up to remove trapped hair etc [/STRIKE]

    Level 3

    Wash the windows
    Scrub the floor
[STRIKE]Replace the towels - and put the old ones in the WM for a HOT wash
    Empty bins
    Wash out the toothbrush holder
Polish all taps with a fluffy cloth
Put a slug of bleach down all plugholes and overflows[/STRIKE]

Also set vacuum cleaner off on landing, master and DD2 bedrooms.

    Also did HHC.

I managed to overrun my HHC but bathroom and en-suite have both been blitzed. Notimetospare - I used to use a lime scale remover from Mr L but since I can’t get it anymore I have moved to white vinegar. HTH.
Right now to dry my hair with a cup of coffee. That came out wrong. I know what I mean.;)

Shopping delivered and put away. I made up the crates and I've sorted the bottom of the wardrobe. Does anyone else's DH keep a frying pan in the bottom of the wardrobe? It's from his fishing days but he doesn't go any longer and can't admit he never will (he's not well enough). So that's in a crate with other similar bits. I have been able to get the toy bags in too now so that is better, just because they are out of sight.

Bathroom and toilet cleaned too and new toilet brush put out (how did the holder get cracked and nobody noticed?

Washing has defrosted and the wind has picked up so it's blowing round and in the sun, so fingers crossed.
  • HHC anyone? X

I can but must be done by 3 as I'm off out to collect DD2.
  • In my HHc I:

    - did some filing
    - sorted out the recycling
    - sorted out the post
    - made some yoghurt
    - hoovered the bathroom

Now to collect DD, nip to the library and dump some stuff at the chazza! X

    I too sorted post
Collected coats and put them away (I have a coat addiction we all have far too many)
Cleared the floors of wires etc in the family room and kitchen so when I left I could pop the vacuum cleaner on
Sorted clean clothes and distributed them to owners bedrooms
Hung out the daily wash (had forgotten it was in the machine)
Cleared the kitchen table which is a major hot spot
  • Working this morning, did have a blitz when I got in;
Washing off the horse, in airing cupboard & old taken out/packed away.
More washing on the horse, another load on the go.
Dusted front room and hoovered the whole house top to bottom.
Scrubbed bath, had a bath & washed my hair, washed out bath again:rotfl:
Loo given the once over (I keep a bottle of diluted zooflora in the bathroom)
Made tea for me (Salad and a pork, cheese and pickle pie:D)

Now catching up with a few things online (along with todays episode of Father Brown, I confess, I do love the cheesiness of it:rotfl:)

Worked all day, 1st time since mid December so quite a shock to the system. Survived

    2nd load in WM
    Dinner eaten (soup)
Nothing unnecessary bought, a huge success as it's first day of sales here. Did go and buy face cream but it was half price and needed as ran out on Monday.
DW loaded and ready to go on overnight
Time for a cup of tea and TV

I'm trying not to spend unnecessarily too. I did take DD2 to play pool and have some tea after school but it was about the cheapest thing to do I could think of to kill some time before her after school class. Coming home would have cost half the £10 spent and I'd have had to feed her.
