Couldn’t get hold of the court direct as they are closed but managed to get through to the generic court manager phone number.
Email submission is fine but with a limit of 25MB, I’m concerned that my docs may be more than that so may have to see if a can compress them to come under the 25MB!0 -
I'm not sure whether the courts will decompress files, maybe the restriction is in relation to the number of pages they are prepared to print than the actual file size? Converting your Word document to a pdf file should produce some reduction. For major word processing work I use an iMac through which I can convert my Word document to pdf format, then with an additional function to further reduce the file size. That makes a significant difference. It's absolutely fine for text, but some of the closer detail of images can result in some blurring at the edges. If you're using a Windows PC, I'm sure there must be a similar pdf file size reduction function. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

They might have a per email size limit, to stop someone sending an e mailbomb to them. 25MB is coincidentally the gmail limit.
WHile work can be dnoe to reduce the quality of attached photos, you need to be careful. Does anything stop you sending a "1 of 2" and "2 of 2" email, to make it fit under 25MB?4 -
Umkomaas, I'm on a PC so I will find a programme to decompress.
nosferatu, just had a quick google and can't see anything stating that I can't so will go with that if needs be,
Thanks all for your help and guidance, appreciated as always.

Sending them a zip file may or may not work. I would not leave it up to chance .2

I've used this to merge some PDFs into one document - click 'all tools' then 'merge':

Then if that merged single PDF is still too big, save it as a 'compressed' file within your documents on your PC.

Youre scanning at a really high res, or in colour. anything over 600dpi is a waste for text.1

Compressed down to 4.7MB, isn't the internet a wonderful place.1
