No sign of the lost present :-(
Had a quick sort of holiday clothes and quick clean around, past over some clothes from oldest to youngest who is loving her new clothes and poor oldest now needs topping up. Shes 7 (8 in Dec) and grown so quick is now in age 9 so last years autumn/winter clothes no longer fit.
Girls are just playing, OH has just gone out soon and I don't envy him one bit. Well I am slightly jealous of the curry they are having later but other than that happy to be in.
In honesty after years of being a party girl I enjoy being at home or going out in an afternoon. How times have changed, although I don't think I could afford to go out Fri, Sat and Sun like I used to do. I couldn't afford it then !!!!
WW tomorrow not looking forward to the scales over spending and over eating is the trend here at the moment but time to face it. I am all or nothing and unfortunately I need to be nothing for things to work.
I have started couch to 5k and on week 3 and I also going to a bums, legs and tums class and really enjoying it. Still walking as much as possible. I have had my new car 2 months now and still only done 100 miles in it but its lovely and I am very fortunate.
Food shop ordered to be delivered on Sunday - its OH turn for next couple of weeks. We currently use morrisons but considering comparing to asda or sainsburys. I have compared to tesco before now and morrisons was cheaper by at least £10 that was a few months back now so may have changed.
I really should go back to aldi but we get our shop on Sundays for the week ahead as our main use of fresh fruit and veg is Monday - Friday but Sundays are now taken up by football training in the morning and swimming lessons in the afternoon so by the time we get to aldi the shelves are almost empty!
Another spend today - email from school oldest takes packed lunch but they are having a "pizza party" on Thursday cost of £2.40 she wants to do it so paid that already. Oldest will also need £1 for weekly "tuck shop" too, Monday and both girls can take spending money for the sleepover tomorrow £4 each. Looks like tomorrow will be a spend day too.
Anyway goals for the month ahead -
Lunch to work - 12 days (work part time)
NSD's - 12 days
Track spending
Track food (through WW app)
Lose 8lbs
Have a fun evening
Best wishes

Hello Saturday
Paid for the "Pizza Party" for school yesterday - £2.40 so went into today with an even £63.00.
Nice steady day today although I have been awake since 5.30am and couldn't get back to sleep. Went to WW put 3.5lbs on ! Bought a birthday present for my friends lad its a joint present with 2 of my friends and all budgeted for.
Girls are at the rainbows / brownies sleepover and OH has gone out with his friend. So its me and the dog and the house is far too quiet and quite strange.
I have to say this is the least I have spent on a Saturday in a long time and don't plan on moving anywhere soon.
Balanced transferred from yesterday : £63.00
Unplanned spends today:
Porridge - £2
Coffee - £1 (not for me gave to my friend who had no change)
WW Magazine and bake in the bag - £3.70
McDonalds - £6.88 (I was so starving and out and about but now I feel sick and stuffed as I also got a McFlurry!!!)
Total unplanned spends - £13.58
Total remaining £49.42 until 15th Oct.
This does not include the spa day next week that is all saved for, 2 birthday gifts for girls friends next week (bought the cards already)
I am hopefully coming in under budget for the birthday gift for my friends lad but need to get some wrapping paper and a card.
I have been reading lots of diaries on here and the small ad hoc payments seem to make a big difference I am going to bite the bullet and give it a go over the next couple of weeks. Maybe start with anything which comes under budget i.e. birthday presents.
Tomorrow I will need to iron for the week ahead, go for a run, pick girls up, girls have swimming, food shop will be delivered and then to my mums for tea.
Summer clothes are all packed away, just need OH to put in the loft for another year. I have washed a coat and gillet and will try see if I can sell them we also have a dolls house in the garage will see if we can get something for that too. Worth a try at least.
Enough of my ramblings
Have a fun filled rest of the weekend
Best wishes

Hey NMC
Your doing great, don’t beat yourself up!
Remember this is years and years of having an over spending mentality, it’s not going to change over night! I think the easiest way is to post as much as you can and be completely honest. It really does help with accountability. For me, I had to look at triggers to my over spending. Mine is always to do with wine and socialising. So now I have learnt if I get invited for a drink with the girls or family last minute, if I don’t have the budget, I just can’t go. If I do go, that’s when I start to get stupid with money and spend money I don’t have!
Keep going, we are all here to support you. It’s a marathon not a sprint and you will get there, keep the focus xxMy debt free journey, diary and all! New Life Pending :beer:0 -

Thank you really appreciate you stopping by and your kind words xx I am going to keep working through it x I can't remember not overspending and this is my problem. I am going to try and keep posting sometimes RL just runs away with me then I blink and a month has passed. I have a FOMO, although I don't go out like I used to but we spend so much on food and hardly ever waste anymore either, I just spend on nonsense can't pin point a specific area apart from food.

Evening Sunday
Tacked the ironing this morning found some more holiday clothes (finally all done and packed away) and caught up on the washing. Picked up the girls and they had a great time, the leader commented on how kind and so helpful my oldest was at the sleepover and she has been amazing, so proud of her. OH took them to swimming lessons whilst I finished the ironing, shopping came, then we went to my mums for tea.
Back home now, girls are in bed I won't be far behind them.
Whilst cleaning this morning I found £2.70 down the sofa so popped 70p in the change jar and used the £2 to buy wrapping paper and a birthday card. The girls also came home with some change so I again put the silver and copper into the savings jar and picked up some fizzy pop to take to my mums and some painkillers as I had a nagging headache which wouldn't go, they did the trick.
So spends today and with due to extra cash found still have £49.42 left alongside an extra £1 in my purse from today.
Wrapping paper - £0.99
Birthday Card - £0.99
Bottle of pop - £1.00
Painkillers - £1.00
Off to catch up with other diaries
My missions is to have the £3 still in my purse this time tomorrow ! I.CAN.DO.THIS
Best wishes
