Evening Tuesday
Another day done.
I had intended for it to be a NSD however best laid plans.... A close colleague of mine will not be returning after maternity leave so we had a collection for a gift as she is coming into see us tomorrow £5 spend there and then I realised I also need birthday cards for my brother and godson - £1.98 some bits and bats from a discount store (floor wipes, drinks, chocolate and rice cakes - £4.27. I need a stamp to post a card but that can wait until Friday as I would like to try for a NSD tomorrow and Thursday (fingers crossed)
Lunch to work today sandwiches, fruit and yogurt, will be taking it tomorrow too and Thursday as I am going into the office this week and not working from home Thurs.
Checked bank account and updated budget spreadsheet as a few direct debits have left the account.
That is it for today, fairly simple day and now ready for bed.
Best wishes

Evening Wednesday,
Safe to say I am tired this week and think coming down with a cold, have a sore throat and aching but I am hoping this is hayfever. My plan was to have a NSD which nearly happened but ran out of pain killers so it was a small spend of 80p for paracetamol and ibuprofen. I had taken the last 2 at work today - so gutted about that.
Anyway feeling slightly better for taking them. Lunch to work which is now a total of 7. In the office tomorrow so another opportunity to take lunch again.
Must go a check bank account and update spreadsheet then off to catch up on diaries and I suspect I will be asleep sooner rather than later.
Best wishes

Morning NMC
Hope you're feeling better. I've just written on another diary how there seems to be a lot of coughs and colds around at the moment. DD is still not quite 100% and this is the 3rd week although her lifestyle probably doesn't help
Great that you came back from your weekend away with some spends still intact. :T Have you managed to shave anything else off your long list?
I always found DD more expensive to kit out than DS for school - not the uniform so much as the accessories. Pretty hair bobbles, stationery which always had to include lots of cute erasers, bags, lunch boxes etc. DS literally takes the required black pen, pencil, ruler and eraser to school in a pencil case he's had for years :rotfl:
Well done on your lunch to work numbers. They soon add up don't they. Hope you all have a lovely weekend and you manage to shake off the germs. xx0 -
Hope you're okay NMC x0

Hi Tea
All good now thanks, think its hayfever as it comes and goes but taking some antihistamines and they seem to be working. But there are a few people I know with colds and at this time of year too!.
I have been meaning to reply to you so apologies for my rudeness x its been an expensive time but nearly there now. Just need cardigans and some trainers for my oldest. OH is buying shoes and my mum the rucksack.
I haven't been able to save anything and basically spent the budget. I keep trying then something else comes along £18 flew out of my account last week for school things and OH paid £30 for trips for brownies and rainbows!
Will stop by with you :-)
Take care

Hello Monday
The weeks have run away with me I don't know where the time has gone. My June round up was again a shambles thing I managed 2 NSD's but did a bit better with 9 Lunch to work (need to check in with that) and hopefully join July's. I have had a mixed bag of emotions this last couple of weeks think when I slack on my healthy eating I feel down, demotivated, tired and inpatient and I do not like feeling like this, so back to it. I would like to lose 14lbs before my holidays.
I have stuck to the budget whilst spent nearly everything but all planned except the school trips and contributions I did budget for them but with a school friends party it was not enough so £8 over. Still some things to buy for school uniform and holiday but will get them over the next month in dribs and drabs. 7 sleeps till next payday, July and August will be tight months but a nice holiday to look forward to in August so I am not complaining.
I did the 3 peaks a last week and I did it!!!!! 11 hours 20 mins it was sooooo hot and at times very tough but what a day and still can't believe I did it. I only spent £1.70 too but not many places to spend your money on climbing those peaks :-) I also raised £360 for charity so happy about that.
I have take my lunch to day to work will some goals for the rest of July:
11 lunch to work (I am only in the office 3 days a week) will count today too.
10 NSD's
I need to take some things back to primarni so will be £9 refund there. I have also got a free week of train travel for 15th July so won't have any costs to work for that week.
I have my hair appointment on Saturday and really need to sell our unwanted items - I really do not like "Faceb***" aka faceache but if it beings in some extra money for the holiday I need to suck it up and give it a try.
Off to go catch up on other diaries and look at the budget for the month ahead.
Take care
