I'm too tired to sew. I will just have to work a little later tomorrow and the rest of the week.
I am going to bed with a book, followed by my hypnosis tape.
Tomorrow is another day, and I will think about what's next to sort out then.
When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.

Oh dear, I have to find another £147 a week to fill the black hole of loosing my HB and 25% single occupancy on the council tax

I do hope DS will be filling that hole!

I'd like to think he would, although he needs that new job first, as he only earned £80 last week, which doesn't get very far on paying for fuel in the car, his rent arrears and personal needs. He needs several hundred a week to even make a dent in the debts. Not to mention my household costs. It is pretty worrying at the moment.

    Right, positive head on.
Lots of work in, so the opportunities to earn more this week anyway. Only two more rent payments on the shop then I will be reducing my overheads dramatically.

Busy day, I managed to do £164 worth of work even with serving in the shop. So I am happy with that for a day on my own.
Here's hoping for a good one tomorrow as well. DS thinks the interview went well, they have other jobs available too, so they will be in touch when they have finished their round of interviews. Fingers crossed.

Shouldn't prioritising the roof he has over his head now (I.e. you and your additional costs due to him being there) take precedence over repaying rent arrears?

Unless we want a bailiff bill on top he has to pay the housing back. Also he will not be able to be rehoused unless it gets cleared and it will be a long time as it is.
There are unfortunately other debts too.
Here is hoping he gets the job. Or any other jobs that come along.

I have switched hypnosis tapes to one on motivation and when I wake in the night if I am still tossing and turning after 20 minutes or so, I am listening to that one. I am still tired most of the time and retiring to my room very early. I can't remember when I last watched TV or the news etc.
I am reading more, and still journaling most days.

The weather is against me for the garden, or should I say DS as I need him to widen the hole for the cabin by 12" and the whole 20ft of it. The children go back to Mum today, it's our short week, so I am hoping that it will clear up enough to do or the cabin will arrive with no footings done.

We washed and tumbled the clothes the boys came in and they are back on them today. DS has to go back to collect the toddlers shoes yesterday, he said he could smell that she has been smoking in the house. I think he meant wacky bacci not cigarettes. I have told him to tell the careworker.

    Time to move!
At least I can get up in the morning now!
I must be adapting to the meds.

Mooloo, I'm glad you seem to be getting used to the meds and have a bit more 'oomph'.

I know that DS has debts, but I do wonder what you are all supposed to be living on. After all, thin air isn't a particularly healthy diet! (What happens about the Child Benefit, is that shared?) What on earth would he have done if mum wasn't able to put a roof over his head? :(

I don't know DS[' full situation but would a Debt Relief Order be more suitable for him rather than trying to pay back all his debts?

I agree with him paying former rent arrears to get him housed but bailiffs cannot attend for former rent arrears unless the landlord obtained a CCJ for him, just taking someone to court for eviction proceedings does not mean a CCJ was granted.
Please look into this as your accommodation is more important.

So busy today, I was at work until 5.40 until I finished my £150 target. I had some 10 or more jobs in today and about 6 collections, and a few browsers and enquiries so I was kept on my toes. I wish I still had my fit bit I bet I would have done about 12,000 plus steps.
I have brought a trolley full home to do tomorrow as well. But I am confident that I can keep on top of it then.
I have a lot of things to make as well this week. Cushions, blinds, and sofa cushions recovered to name a few.

I will once again try to sort out DS and I keep trying to get him to open up about all the debts etc.
