I will call tomorrow.
I am trying to be focused and positive but it is not happening at the moment. No matter what I tell myself.
I am in my room and I should be down stairs doing jobs.
I could easily hibernate under the duvet all week.
Biggest has gone away to her cousins for a few days, leaving her children with her husband, as everything is getting too much for her.
Dgd is grumpy and not really engaging with me and that's hard as we were so close.
Maybe we will go to the cinema later.

Just do the minimum needed in the house and get DS and DGD doing their share too. Good idea to take GD to the cinema later, not sure when she's back at school but she could be worrying about SATS2 .
She might find it easier to talk after you've had some time out later today.

Dgd chose Dumbo to see at the Cinema.
So we had some time out.
Social worker has been here to drop off some paperwork while I was out. Glad I missed him, but I was under the impression he was being removed and replaced this week.
I suppose after Wednesday the PLO meeting we might know more.
The kids are rather excitable today. Unfortunately the lad is temper tantrums all over again.

I am hoping that I will have some peace soon, just done dinner, so baths next!
Back to school tomorrow for Dgd and the lad.
DS is being harassed again by the Ex.
I really don't think she understands that she is going to be digging her own hole if she continues.
I despair at what is going on with her. DS is stressed out by her.

Glad you and DGD had some time together and a change of scene. Hopefully that guy will be replaced asap.


Are SS aware DS is being pestered by GF when he has the boys? I can understand if there are arrangements to be made re dropping off and picking up contact is needed but not constant harassment. Could be best if he responds only by email if it is something that he needs to respond to , he'll have a record of the emails and can ignore any other attempts to pester him.

Yes the social worker was here while she was texting. He won't speak on the phone as he needs to keep a record of everything. But it's just constantly happening. He did block her the other night for a couple of days, but needed to message about collecting and school run so put it back on

I need to be out early in the morning so hope school goes well for DGD and the boy.
Remember to phone for an appt with the Dr and wishing you a good day at the shop.

Just to say I'm thinking about you Mooloo, and agree totally with Polly about seeing the Doctor.

You aren't on your own about being held hostage by our kids needs and wants. I reckon 95% of mothers know exactly where you are coming from., although yours seems to be 'it never rains but it pours':eek:
