I will cut my coat according to my cloth. {Edited by Forum team} 2019

Work early enough to vacuum two floors.
Pressed all jobs from yesterday, finished a few small jobs and customers called. Saturday girl got in on making the aprons, and my student was happy to make one for her Mum, and I made 1 and 1/2 beside her. She was intrigued with the old machine I was using so I showed her a couple of even older machines. Got me thinking about checking all the machines and making sure I only keep hold of the best I need for teaching.
I bought a few men's shirts and a denim jacket in the charity shop so I can upcycle to my hearts content this evening.
I cut a small section of my lawn but as the battery life is not long I couldn't cover all the lawn. (I call it lawn very loosely you understand.)
Spaghetti bolognese simmering for tea.
So all in all a good day, and the shop balance is now back in the Black and will still be in the Black Monday when I pay staff, but I will need serious money in next week if I want to stay in the Black and cover the rent.
I need more pin money from the Makes! When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Liking seeing the sun shining.
Three wash loads done. A minor quick repair to my rotary sorer. And they are now hanging up in the sun.
Walk down to work to get some red fabric ready for some purses. Bunting in blue and white made. 8 purses cut out.
Time to do another 30 minutes on the lawn.
Then back to Sew the purses. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -

11 purses made.
I also worked on my recycling project until about 6.30 then my friend and her son came round and we have had a bits tea, and quite a laugh. She is so funny. It's good to laugh.
Parcelled up the keyrings and purses and £88 requests for Paypal payment sent.
Not a bad day for a Sunday.
Dgd is playing on the Xbox down here in the front room, so I am going to write my diary and put my feet up. Yet another early night in the picture I think. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Wonder what today will bring? Apart from the lovely sound of the birds and the sun shining. I have curtains coming in for a one day turn around and 3 other pairs in the pipeline. So curtains are the theme of the day which means working on the top floor today. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0

"It's curtains for Mooloo" sounds rather sinister!
It is another lovely day here too, I was almost glad to be up and out for aquagym (you note I said 'almost' as I am not a morning person). It's not difficult!

We started the Sale properly in the shop today. The banner arrived from Vistaprint. One lady had 10m of fabric
Another had 5 (both online purchases). Also a couple of smaller purchases in store. I spent the day upstairs sewing curtains. I will be doing the same tomorrow.
I did bring a few things home to do, but I haven't done them as I have had to make some hasty changes in the little room in anticipation of house guests arriving tomorrow probably.
My Son came in today to tell me he had had a visit from the health visitor and the social worker and they are suggesting that he doesn't wait until after the lads birthday to get out. They say he needs to do it now.
I told him that actually I agree, even though it will be very disruptive for us. He will have to leave most things behind though as there is no room here for much at all. I said that he can come over tomorrow. I suggested that he takes her to work, go home and grab a bag of a few clothes for each of them, and my laptop etc and put them in the car and drop the lad at Nursery and just come here. Of course there are going to be repercussions from the GF and her family, we will need the social worker to talk to the nursery about not letting the GF or her family to collect the lad.
DS has a solicitor appointment in 3 weeks- first he could get.
We have the big meeting in 4 weeks (approximately). So we need to get everything planned out to tell the chair what's happening etc.
I am not looking forward to the nuclear fallout that is headed our way. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -

Oh dear Mooloo - but at least it is all coming to a head now.
Please make sure that you set down house-rules - that you do NOT look after the two little boys - that your son does all the parenting - from getting them up, washed and dressed to feeding them, doing their laundry, doing the shopping for them, getting them to and from nursery and clearing up after them, etc etc. And make sure you set house rules for him - no drinking/smoking/spliffs etc in or around the house - not good for him, the babies or DGD!
It's going to be stressful enough for you in the next few months, shutting down the shop and setting up at home - if you cannot look after you, then the whole thing could end in disaster.
You are a strong woman - you can do all of this xxxx0
