Long day. Only just getting to bed.
Dgd has had another mishap at school and hurt a muscle in her shoulder in PE. Came home with her arm in a sling. I don't know who the first auger is but the sling was all wrong. It shouldn't have needed one anyway as it's a muscle not a broken bone.
Baby has a temperature and so a disruption in the evening routine. My friend came round with some money for some fabric for me. Stayed chatting, she is hilarious so DS is at least getting a laugh. I only brought home half a trolley of work which was just as well as I was slow. I was altering a blind this afternoon and had laid it out on the floor, as I was kneeling down I knelt on my scissors and stumbled putting my left hand out and ended up getting a needle several millimetres intomy thumb, the eye end not the point! It was painful and I felt sick pulling it out. Luckily I managed to only get a tiny bit of blood on the blind and it washed out!! Could have been worse!
It was lovely walking home, and I had time to finish cutting the lawn. Tomorrow I will probably have to start again at the beginning!
I got forms to register the children here at the doctors and as the baby is not well, if he still has a temperature after the calpol wecan take home to the walk in clinic. We really need their red books, so DS plans on trying to get them tomorrow, and allow her to see the children. I am not thrilled but of course they must see their Mum or we could have repercussions.
I looked on entitled to calculator for how the benefit may alter with DS here. It doesn't seam too bad a difference, and he should be entitled to about £175 a week UC if he can change the claim. I need to get the birth certificates sorted out if he doesn't manage to get them tomorrow.
    Right I need sleep

Mooloo, I hope that baby is better this morning. There are so many viruses going around at the moment and little ones pick up everything going :(

Yes he seems better this morning. He ate some breakfast and was his usual cheery self when I left for work but I told DS if his temperature goes up again take him to the walk in clinic.

Still standing. On top of the housework etc. Tired as I was babysitting duty last night and kids up at 6.15 this morning. DS didn't get in until 1.30am
And has work again at 3pm today.
The GF has already managed to wangle round Ada's by cleaning up the house and he ended up running around after her again yesterday. He had agreed contact for the boys, which is fair enough. But then he got caught in the taking her shopping etc and has agreed she can have the boys this afternoon and overnight because the house is tidy. I am more worried about her sleeping and not getting up with them. I have messaged the social worker but I don't know if he will answer as it's the weekend.
    Worried to put it mildly!

Edit. I am hoping that he is having second thoughts as I said what's stopping her taking the children away herself?
Fingers crossed he will see sense!

Such a worry for you and DS! Of course you don't want to stop the children seeing their mother, but you do need to make sure they are safe :(

We had a lie-in this morning but Alfie-cat punished me for being late with his breakfast by bringing in a rat and smearing its entrails over my carpet - horrible cat!!

    Yuk!!

DS has messaged her with a very well thought out message, and has offered for her to see the boys again tomorrow as it's mother's day. He also said he hoped that she would take care and get better one day.
But he has text me to warn me she might try to get here.
Well there is no way I am letting her in without any help here, and if she raises her voice etc I will not hesitate to call the police.
I am protecting them because it is my duty of care to them. Until legal advice tells me differently than that, I am using my opinion based on her history.

Not an easy night, phone calls and threats etc
This is not going to be a smooth ride. Obviously best not to give details as it's not advisable.
All I will say is it's been an eventful evening.
    Tomorrow may be very interesting!
For now I am finally going to relax.

Can't sleep waiting for my son to come home. He's late because the police have had to be called due to GF causing a desturbance at his work. I am to expect a scene again tomorrow too! Happy Mother's Day!

Oh boy :-( Is there any way that you, DGD and son + babies could go "out out" for the day? At least fore-warned is fore-armed.

Hope that all goes as well as possible - it is not good for the babies (or DGD for that matter) should be subject to scenes.
