I will have to google that!
Spent yesterday going around Mdina. Train ride was informative but a bone shaker! But we were frozen to the bone as the clouds were out in force.
I am still not right. So not eating much at the moment.
Today we have come for a walk across the bay to the next village. We are sitting at the only open beach cafe having a cold drink and briefly getting some sun on our faces- between the clouds.
But watching the sea is peaceful enough.
My head keeps going on to work, and what if I did x would it work or would I be better to do y. It's very annoying because I would like to switch off but my brain is not letting me. Although messages coming through email messenger and the business page is not helping me.

Sitting in the sun on the beach. Fully dressed in jeans and jumper though!
Listening to the waves breaking a few feet away. Sun on my back is warming me through. Not a care in the world (well nearly).

One of the most relaxing things I ever did was sit on a beach completely by myself on a dark cloudy day in the pouring rain with a golf umbrella over me and a nice warm coat watching the waves crashing in. Shame you can't just magic that atmosphere back again

We went to Gozo yesterday. It was interesting. I'd never been on a ferry before. Not with a car anyway.
Certainly for my 10,000 steps in.
Cloudy mostly. I think you have better weather at home.
Tummy is a bit better finally.
    Last day today.
    Valletta it is then.

  • Glad to hear you are having a relaxing break, hope the (Ex?)BF is behaving on this trip.

Sitting drinking tea by the Barrakka Gardens in Valletta. The firing of the gun is due in 20 minutes. Not sure we will still be here then though.
    What fantastic views.

  • Mooloo It doesn't matter where I stay on Malta my first visit is to the Upper Barrakka gardens, the views are stunning.

I see the weather forecast isn't good for tomorrow. I have been there when the Gozo ferries couldn't run because a storm had thrown the large lumps of rock and concrete that line the ferry quayside up onto the road that leads down to the ferry.
If you go down to the woods today you better not go alone.

We are opposite the ferry terminal. Due to come home tomorrow and the restaurant we are in now is boarding up ready for a Hurricane tomorrow. This may be yet another holiday that is not plain sailing.
Dgd has had an accident at the skate park and ended up in A& E, Hospital had to ask me why she lived with me and not her Mum. Asked for our social worker and I said we don't have nor need one. We just live as a normal family.

I am sure we will be fine.
Can't really hear or see anything on our room, the sky is dark and wet. But the sound of the heating blower is louder than any storms at the moment.
