I have arrived at work earlier than needed, to try and get myself organised for work.
Phone ringing and first appointment of the day is cancelled.
So that gives me a bit more breathing space.
I have always loved my little shop, but at the moment I am finding it more and more like a ball and chain keeping me here when I don't want to be.
I have to change that mindset or the next 5 months will be awful.
Time for motivation tapes to run while I work again then.

Looking for my boot straps and "big girls knickers" for support today.
Rain dark and dreary doesn't do me any favours either.

I know someone mentioned a 'SAD' light earlier in the thread. Do you have one? If so, are you using it? You clearly find life harder when the days are short and dreary :(
    It's not difficult!

Yes I have a lamp. I do use it, but not often enough!
I must sort out a better routine!

I am home now, feet up with a cuppa, dinner is roasting in the oven.
I might just have a play with some fabric I was given the other day and see if it inspires me to make something or other.

Please, Mooloo - do make sitting in front of your lamp part of your daily routine - you know how much you need it - you could use it when you are doing your daily inspirational reading! If your mood lightens, your blood pressure drops, your heart rate drops and the stress-inducing hormones drop - all of which will help your physical health xx

I will set it up in my new desk area. I am starting to use the new area more.
I made half a dozen coin purses while dinner was cooking. And I have made 14 moretoday.
Sorted some broken things out in the garden ready for the tip. My new wallunit thingy is now sitting proudly in the front room, and I realised that the inserts that came with the second hand unit were toning with the new flooring.quiye by chance.
Front room looks so different now.
Did Spaghetti bolognese for the evening meal this evening. Boiled some eggs ready for pack up and made a jelly for tomorrow.
I am struggling with needing to keep building on my business and wanting to walk away. I have to get over that as there is still 6 months on the lease and I need to be paying the bills.

Moment of madness this morning, I woke before the alarm and went to the loo, decided to fast forward the teasmade and turn off the alarm on my phone. Couldn't find the phone, searched up and down the place.
Went back down stairs retracing my movements etc- 15 minutes later thinking I was going mad I found it at the bottom of the bed!?
Must have put it down when I tucked the duvet under the mattered!
So I wasn't going totally mad? But for a moment I was doubting my sanity!
I have had interest in one of my purses I put on Facebook from a customer and one from my daughter. And a request for some glasses cases from someone else who has had my work previously. So I will be getting the zips sorted out so I can keep sewing my scraps up.
If I end up with a mountain of unsold things I will have to find a deserving cause for them, but at the moment that deserving cause is to help me to budget. I finished clearing the credit card that I use to purchase the odd things, as I don't want to build up any further debts. So only one card with the credit on now.
But my accounts are low. So I must not take my eye off the bottom line.
I have a shop full of fabric and buttons etc that this week I need to process and get up on the internet to sell.
I have the editorial for the magazine to finish before Wednesday.
I have around 45 jobs in the shop to sew and so I am hoping for fewer interruptions and time to get my head down.
I could do with the sun to shine as I walk to work and for its warmth to seep into my bones.
Only snag with sewing most of the weekend is that my fingers know it.
But my mind was occupied and I was less stressed. Now to find a happy medium and a way to boost my income and keep reducing my outgoings.
Time to wake Dgd and get her to school. This is never easy as she is always dragging her heels and never good in the morning, and no matter when I tell her to go to bed she will take forever to do that too!
My biggest bugbear is that she will pretend to be asleep and then as soon as I am in bed she gets up again. Caught her out at Midnight on Saturday night.
She's on a warning to loose her Xbox for a month if I catch her on it again when she's not supposed to be on it.

Mooloo - can you not switch off the internet - at about 10pm say - so that DGD cannot get on the WWW? I would worry that if she can get on during the night, that is the time that the groomers are often scouring the net for vulnerable young people :-(

I will have to relocate it first so that I can get at it easily! Yes I must make more effort, although 90% of the time I am on it. My meditation stuff is all on the Internet.

Mooloo there are Xbox parental controls where you can set times to be on. You need a Microsoft account. Google it. It’s really simple to set up
