My flooring is arriving tomorrow. Another step towards working at home. Biggest is going to see My Mum and change the bed for me tomorrow as I only had time to take her to a late lunch today.
She had made me another hat, and an armful of handbags. Time just gets the better of me at the moment.
    Silent Witness time.

  • It's understandable to be told that at this stage .It's for the sake of all involved especially the little ones .it must be playing on your mind but however things work out you went above and beyond to make things work .Know that we're all thinking of you and sending support.

I noticed you've been working on the Thermal Bags so hopefully they'll bring some money in .Promoting the fuel saving aspect will help. The small amount of electricity or gas needed is a no brainer as prices rise in many ways . They are moneysaving . I notice Elaine is still off line although I know she's started another job .

I don't know if you had a chance to catch up with your son re the HGV course but if that is still not sorted although I'm aware you're already spinning too many plates it's time to research that company and follow things up . I know your son paid one monthly payment back to you but not sure if he's still doing so .If things aren't underway as they should be it's time to find out why . If your son struggles to pay you back you aren't in a position to pay it yourself . You've enough to worry about as it is but as you guaranteed the loan and it's coming out of your account you will be the one liable to keep paying if your son can't.

It's too late now but I always found plaited rugs a pain although they look lovely.Painful hands ,shoulders and arms cope better with the Proggy rugs (that's what they're called up north ) Just a hessian or similar backing ,a simple tool and fabric scraps . The plaiting of fabrics and hand sewing the rounds together is hard going as the rug gets bigger and heavier .

Sorry for the typos tonight , hands aren't too good lately.

Thanks Polly, I will get it back on track.
It's still about fire fighting too often and the things that I should be doing don't get done.
I fell asleep in front of the tv and Dgd woke me up as she came down to use the bathroom. Exhaustion actually hit me this time.
Time for bed. Good night everyone. Thankyou for always being there to help. X I know that I would not have been so strong with out this place to tell my life. I know that I would have given up on life a long time ago , and am thankful that I have Dgd to bring me back to earth.

Hi Mooloo, I don't think I have anything useful to add, so will just leave you some (((hugs))) to help you through the day.

I have wasted two hours flicking around from email to social media!
My flooring has arrived. Now I need to get my self motivated to do something around the house and also the accounts that I keep putting off!

Brain fog today. Stayed close to home, walked to the bank and then back to home but have been binge watching some drama while plaiting rags for my rug, and since dinner I have been sewing in the round. It's getting more difficult the bigger it is getting, and difficult to stop it from curling upwards. I didn't have to babysit for Biggest in the end, which was a relief as I really didn't want to do anything. So I still have not done the accounts.

Empathy re the brain fog . I spend a lot of time trying to get my brain to work!

The curling of plaited rugs is another reason I gave up making them. There were times I would leave stacks of heavy books on them overnight to flatten them enough to carry on the next day.

It sounds as though you need a hot soak in the bath and an early night . Your body and mind are telling you to rest. I understand how exhausting it can be when your head is full of stuff to remember and all sorts of things to do . All you can do at that point is slow down and rest for a while. I find it's better to start the next day as when you're overloaded mistakes happen , it's more effective to sleep and start the next day with a sensible amount of things to do. In your case I'd fit the accounts in tomorrow as you'll have it in your head until it's done .

Hoping you sleep well . Tomorrow is another day, let's hope it's a good one.

For me I had a reasonably good sleep between 11 and about 5am. Been in and out then until the alarm at 7. Been listening to a wellness session that's just finished. I have work and the dentist today.

I am just waiting for the fog to clear! So using prompt alarms on my phone to remind me of times and things to do.
