I ended up closing the shop at 12 on Saturday as I couldn't concentrate.
I have not done much this weekend. I did do my trolley full of work yesterday afternoon. I didn't do any more of the rag rug as my hands hurt.. I ordered the plywood for the sitting room floor.
I have a few dresses to make for the artist for another photo shoot tomorrow. He never gives me much notice. I gave him back 3 pieces of material because the design faults show up badly when he magnified the print.
I told the kids, as they were fond of ex. twins were both very upset. Biggest kept checking in on me as she was worried about me. I am fine. Just realise that we are mortal and that as I get older the more people around me will be leaving this world.
My own mortality came to mind. It makes me think even more about have I lived, loved and mattered. What have I been putting off? What do I still want to do?
Reflecting I suppose.
Back to today. It's wet which is better than snow. I have enough work for today.
The milk man is late so it was toast not cereal for breakfast.
Tonight is going to be use up fridge stuff for tea. So random. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Mooloo, I hope you are being kind to yourself and not beating yourself up for not getting even more work done over the weekend!
I was 60 last year, lost Mum the year before, so have been very aware of my mortality, I know how uncomfortable that can feel
It is raining here this morning too. The temperature has risen considerably too, it is predicted to get into double figures again today.
Hope everyone has a good week. It's not difficult!

Just to say I'm thinking about you and sending (((hugs))) XI Believe.....
That it isn't always enough, to be forgiven by others.
Sometimes, you have to learn to forgive yourself.
Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery
Today is a gift. That's why it is called the present.

Not sure DS is coping very well at all. I haven't seen him. I was going to pop over yesterday but he was at work and I couldn't face her on my own.
I am not looking forward to seeing them tomorrow at the meeting. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Big girls pants on! Time to go and see what the current issues are about the boys. I am not looking forward to it. I think I need to observe, and hold my tongue and see what I am dealing with.
I managed to make three t shirt dresses and two t shirts out of the dots fabric ready for the fashion shoot today.
I have not got a lot of work on in the shop, and am slightly worried about my cash flow. The business has not been doing as well as I need and January meant that I have had to use my overdraft to pay the rent. So this month is going to be tough.
Right time to go, Dgd has gone to school without fuss. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
I'm glad that Gd has gone to school without arguments, it sounds as if you are going to need all your energy later (I don't know the full situation but it sounds complicated and distressing).
I'm sorry that cash flow is a problem, it's hard when something keeps coming along to de-rail your plansIt's not difficult!

Hope the meeting has gone well today. It's good dgd is better in the mornings, one less stress for you.
I think work will be slower during these first months I'm sure you've mentioned this in previous years . Most people of getting over Christmas ,New year and many are facing higher heating costs . Some people are trying to build up supplies in case Brexit goes ahead too. Things should improve soon work wise . More people will want to repair rather than replace clothes . Not really big jobs like curtains, weddings etc but the service is the daily bread and butter .
You've done well in other areas and tackled important steps towards working from home . Keep your chin up . If you've any of the Silver machines left focus on selling those . Same with the stock you wont be keeping . If it's not already happening try to get your plans for relocating known as much as possible in your area . I imagine Biggest can help with that . I don't know if you still use your Mooloos webpage but could be worth staring that up if not. I don't follow FB or Twitter but do read blogs and know many who do the same .
I'm glad your mum has had good news about her friend ,they sound very close . Most of all I'm pleased you did visit your ex . You must feel better for doing that.
One step at a time love, you've had worrying times so many times but you get up and carry on through the next day. Hope you sleep tonight .

Meeting was long!
I am not allowed to comment on it though. Chair told us no social media. . I know that this is not exactly that. But all I will say is that there is a lot of work to be done or we will see them adopted.
But we will see. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0
