We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

My old friend, ex, who I went to see last week has died last night. His brother contacted me this morning. I was shocked even though I New he was unwell, and it has hit me harder than I expected. I was too upset to carry on so I have brought home some work to do tomorrow. I was on my own today and I couldn't concentrate and was making mistakes, so I decided it was best to come home. Give myself a little time to adjust. Tell my children etc.

We have been to our dentist appointment. Nothing major needed, just a scale and a polish for me. Next Thursday. So that's a quick appointment.
New dentist is Portuguese, I shall have to try and practice my language skills with her.
I am tired today. I don't think I will be very productive for the rest of the day.

Mooloo I'm sorry to see your post today about your ex. Even though we think that type of news wont affect us it's surprising how much it can . He was a part of your life in the past so even though things didn't work out it's natural to feel a sense of loss.

I need to read through from the middle of January when I last posted here. Take it easy tonight and give your mind and body a rest.

Mooloo, I am sorry to hear the news about your ex. It doesn't matter that you knew it was coming; it doesn't matter that you hadn't seen him for years. What matters is that he shared part of your journey and you need to grieve for him (((Hugs))).

I'm glad that the dental check-up was clear. 'No fillings today mum' (does anyone else remember that toothpaste ad?).
    It's not difficult!
