Mooloo, I completely agree with BFO and Polly that your Dg is old enough to be keeping her room clean and bringing down her washing each day. I used to tell my son that my job was to bring him up to be a useful member of society, not to do everything for him! It's not difficult!

I've had a phone call from Social worker this afternoon that was not very easy. He has to put his report to the court today, and he wanted my opinions on the situation and how I perceive things. He has asked me to re think about taking the boys myself as that would be his recommendation. Even though I had ruled myself out, he believes that I am the best option to give them a stable life.
I have just talked to my Mum, and Biggest. I am going to be reassessed by the new worker, and will see what's next.
Don't all shout at once. It's only a recommendation to the courts and it will be down to Solicitors and the judge, so it's not a definite.
But I have said that I would do it if that's the only option. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
I bet he does think its the best solution,
its also the easiest for them,
I know how hard it is but this means the end of all your hopes/dreams for Portugal etc,
this is great for everyone else but yet again not you,
I really dont know what else to say,

I think you need to start learning to say NO, NO, NO.

No no no please don't do this. You have too much on your plate as it is. These boys need someone able to put them first second and third. Sorry moo but with the best will in the world it's not you , your son or his ex. Please think about the struggle s you are having right now and you know it will get worse as they get older and you will be stuck between all parties. Wishing you all the best.0

Sorry folks but I am going to delurk to say Mooloo I am with you absolutely. There is no way any one of my GC or GGC would go to someone outside the family even if I busted a gut to keep them and went bankrupt as a result. Well done lady for putting love before anything else. I know you haven't had it easy with your family, well neither have I but we will survive because we are strong women. Good luck. All that clutter used to be money0
