  • Been nibbling and picking at fruit all day today and I dont think it's going to be enough speeds for the day, I knew cleaning the car would be painful (more painful than the pain I am normally in), taken some strong painkillers and they tend to supress my apettite quite a bit it being morphine based painkiller (so no driving now for 48 hours).

It's my youngest girl's birthday today (she's 11) and theres a large sponge cake and chocky cake on the worktop, and I'm dying to try some, but the way I feel today, I'm glad I just dont have the appetite. They have also gone to the cinema as a birthday treat, and I'm stuck in the house, I really wanted to watch bumblebee too.

As to the packet noodles, I seem to remember reading somewhere that they are deep fried before being dried.

    Oh poo!

I'll have a closer look at the ingredients, they're really only there for an emergency.

Interesting points about SOTW, you'd think there'd be some sort of algorithm based on height/weight/age/gender wouldn't you? I think Sary has a good point about a Consultant's award taking other factors into account, as long as they could be trusted to be fair.

I had a blip last night at an evening class I went to - one of the ladies is starting up a business making vegan cakes and she was handing them round to everyone and they smelled amazing and everyone else was having one! It was delicious in fairness so at least it's not wasted syns, and there was only a tiny amount of icing on top, and surely vegan cakes are healthier than normal ones ... ??

    Anyway, today:
    B - None
D - Bacon and mushroom sandwich
T - 'Christmas Dinner Curry' (turkey, pork and random veg) with boiled potatoes
    HEA - Milk
HEB - Warburtons sandwich thin (not strictly a HEB :o)
    Syns - Sugar (5), butter (2), hot choc (2)
    Exercise - C25K Week 2 Run 3

Well done, lots of good losses coming through! :T Weigh day for me tomorrow...

    Evening guys

I went to M&S and picked up a peppered beef joint but then ended up working late so saving it for Sunday.

    Food today ended up as:

B 2 apricots and an apple
L - porridge HEB, milk from HEA sugar (1)
    Snack - 0% Greek yogurt & apples (1.5)
D - Morrison’s counted tikka masala (6) with giant couscous, quinoa soya beans, sweet corn, green beans and peppers

Tomorrow will be a test. I’m out with my 3 sisters for lunch AND dinner, and have no idea where we will be eating. Will endeavour to choose as healthily as possible with whatever and wherever we end up. Wish me luck!

I think there should be a his and hers slimmer of the week or maybe an award at the consultants discretion to be given out?

Thanks Bubbs - the ones I've got are the Super Noodle style ones in a block, but they were only 14p :D So presumably OK. (They don't appear on the syns online thing).

Reporting a 2lb loss this week :j that's two losses in a row - unheard of! Very pleased!

    Plan for today:
    B - Banana
D - Bacon and mushroom omelette
T - Sausages and mash, peas and gravy
    HEA - Milk
    HEB - None?
Syns - Sausages (10.5)*, Sugar (5?), prob some choc or something as it's weigh day but tbh I'm not desperate for it - who even am I?

*That's the last of my synful sausages used up.

    Have a fab weekend everyone!
