    Hi :)

After many years on and off slimming world and trying other things, I've realised that this is the food plan that works best for me and have decided to join a local group on Monday.

Thought I'd search on here for any threads and found you guys.

Could I please join for your next challenge? And if yes, what do I have to do? :)
  • STS for me this week. Had a bit of a funny week so had no idea how I had done, so just going to move on from that.

Had our Greatest Loser award last night, well, some of us knew last week but as there were so few, consultant decided to do it last night. I am so pleased for her, she was so shy at the beginning, she couldn't face anyone, so weighed between classes. Last night, although she still weighs between classes and never stays for group, she was a completely different person and such a deserving winner.

Can you put me down for 7lbs for challenge please Chris, I will live in hope, especially as I am off to Marrakech in 2 weeks:D

    Morning all

So, so off plan yesterday it's ridiculous. I had Weetabix Minis for breakfast (A&B so far so good) then it all went to hell in a handcart :-) We had a catered lunch and I had (I think) 6 sandwiches quarters, some lovely fruit, handful of crisps and then some cake. The cakes were cut into really small one bite sized pieces and I had lots. :o

Then I went out with work colleague and had three small glasses of red wine, followed by scampi, oven chips and mushy peas. Didn't drink enough water. Gosh.

Back on it today with the following:

B - Banana and nectarine with FF yog and a drizzle of honey ( 2 syns)
L - Chicken and vegetable soup
D - Omelette with ham and cheese and vegetables (cauliflower, broccoli, peas and sweetcorn).

    Snacks - I don't think I need any snacks :-)

Apologies for my tirade against junk food.:

I notice you have BoB milk for your HEA midge. I think it's really good but it's quite hard to come by round here.

We've got football tonight but I'll hopefully just have a coffee.

When it first appeared around here it was a rarity in the shops but now, I can get it everywhere bar the coop. Our consultant also suggested asking for it in local supermarkets as they log requests and if there is demand, they oblige. I wasn't ever brave enough but clearly others were.
  • I've weighed in and the damage is 2.5lbs gain!!
Good job I went straight back on plan or it would be much worse.

That puts me back where I started so for the next challenge I'll aim at 10lbs
    I'm still paying but I won't be for long - I'm determined!!
We were talking about "lower carb lent" and I'm going to give it a go so watch this space.
Off to walk the dogs now but will post my menus later onl

Happy St David's Day everyone. You're all fine with the lamb and leeks but stay away from the welshcakes!:D

Funnily enough, it's our little Coop that does sell it here but they only have limited stock and it's often run out. I think what I'll do is mention it at the till every time I can't get it to see if that helps them up the order.:) I really think it tastes as good as semi skimmed compared with skimmed which can be a bit watery.

Hi Frankie. Well done for finding us. It's a lovely thread and very supportive. Do ask any questions you like. All you need to do is post up how many pounds you hope to lose in the next 9 weeks and the lovely chris will add you to the list. A new thread will start soon. Just post your weightloss every week and Chris will record it on the weekly chart which IIRC appears on Monday evenings. If you don't know what you want to lose then just go target free and record whatever you can do. Good luck.

I've got enough food in to get by today although I will do a shop later. In fact as we're eating out twice and DH hasn't been here for dinner a couple of times this week then I really must check exactly what I have in and do a proper meal plan.

    Today's EE plan:
B: NAs grapefruit, HEB toast, scrambled eggs, HEA milk for drinks
L: veggie stir fry with noodles
D: chicken casserole with new potatoes and green stuff (broccoli, asparagus, sugar snaps).
Syns: HP sauce 1, cornflour 1 and probably weekend wine!:j

Thank you for the welcome :)

9 weeks tomorrow I fly out to Australia. I go every year to see my parents for 2 weeks and I'd like to have lost 2 stone by then.

I have no idea if that's even possible! But I'll give it a shot.

I'm looking forward to getting back on with it :)
