Shows you've been away Maman! We booked a couple of weeks in France in the motorhome a couple of weeks ago. We've just booked the tunnel and the current thinking is that we'll head for our favourite area - Brittany - as the weather forecast there isn't looking too bad - similar to what it is here at the moment but, as always, with the motorhome we'll just follow the weather as far as we can. Don't want to go too far as we've only got the 2 weeks. By the way we're leaving very early Tuesday morning about 5.30 or so:eek:

There was a change of plan for lunch! Instead of the toasted cheese sandwich DH fancied a corned beef one so I had a ham & syn free onion chutney one so just a syn for some light spread. Both meats bought YS on Thursday so needs using up fairly quickly.

No weigh in for me this week.

Have been poorly since Friday, sick in the night which is not like me.

Water all day yesterday and a small portion of casserole made by mum.

Not feeling much better today either so will be back to weigh in next weekend.

Hope everyone is enjoying the better weather, I'm looking forward to some nice salads when I've the energy next week.

    Will catch up later.

Sorry you're not feeling well Curl girl. Get well soon.

Glad you enjoyed your holiday Bubbs. That's a fair few steps in less than a week! Do you know how much that is in miles? I think it's something like 2 miles per 1000 steps but obviously that depends on how long your steps are! DH and I walk together but because he is much taller is steps are longer so I walk more steps than him even though we walk the same distance!

  • Hi all! Back from my holiday, no doubt considerably heavier than when I went, and I have plans in place for the days before I weigh in (Friday) to try and limit the damage.
I have the new mag and am going to make some of the sweetcorn fritters tomorrow to have with some salad.
Once the washing mountain has diminished I'll pop back and catch up on all the goings on.

Welcome back Matron Midge. Don't worry about the extra weight it'll come off quickly as it went on quickly! Enjoy all your memories! Just stick to plan and keep the syns low for the rest of the week.

The washing mountain is the worse part of a holiday isn't it? But at least we're having some good weather to dry it outside!

    Evening all!

Some fab losses being reported - well done!

Been a busy weekend, so aplogies for not checking in sooner, but I've been making the most of the lovely weather and tackling lots of jobs in the garden. So nice to get some fresh air and feel the sunshine on my face, and keep trying to remind myself it's still only February!

    Meal plan yesterday was:
B - porridge HEB, milk from HEA, sugar (2)
    L - bacon, eggs, mushrooms & beans, ketchup (1)
D - LO spag bol with mixed salad, parmesan (2), dressing (2)
    syns: dolce gusto coffee x 2 (4)

    Meal plan today:
B - nectarine, mango, satsuma, strawberries & 0% greek yogurt
L - porridge HEB, milk from HEA, sugar (2)
D - roast chicken, SW roasties, broccoli, carrots, peas, cabbage & gravy (2)
syns - dolce gusto coffee (4)

Here's to a great week ahead!
One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing
