Poor you. I know you usually have your dinner early. Well that's early for me as we always eat about 7.30pm unless we're going out for the evening. Will your sister be having KFC cooked for her?
I'm away from Wednesday for 2 weeks. That's why I have to try to eat up all the fresh stuff in the next few days. I hate wasting anything. :money:
I don't think I'd want orange Smarties in a wine glass beanie . I'll stick to my Sauvignon Blanc.
I know well up at 5.30:eek: ready for tea at 5 /5.30
No she is not here but i have cooked some extra for her, she has been out all day on a shoot, i messaged her and said if you are back before me put oven on as i had got it all ready , but she said she will be later so god knows what time:rotfl::rotfl:

Hi all
So first week done.... Although it was more of a lets see how off plan I have gotten... Needless to say very off plan, I would say I was easily doing a least double the syns I should have
Good things.... I still managed to lose 2lbs which is fab. I can now manage my tea and coffee without sugar so saving syns.
Week ahead should be ok, only tomorrow when hubby cooks wraps but I have downsized the wraps and worked out it will be 13.5 syns so I'm going to roll with that one.
Strategy for this week is mindful eating as I have a habit of eating without really noticing :rotfl:. I want to plan well and really enjoy all my meals, if it's not going to be a good 8/10 I am not going to eat it.
Tomorrows plan:
B- poached eggs and tomato on toast
L - Bacon, pasta salad.
D - 1 small chicken wrap, lots of salad
Syns will be chicken wrap and a cheeky wine.
X0 -
:TWell done mwm
Could you perhaps do without the wrap and have a hot chicken salad instead? How on board is your DH with you doing SW? He could have the wraps (2 even) and you could stick to loads of the healthier stuff.0 -
Well done mwm. Just think how much you could have lost if you'd stuck to plan!
Maman has made a good suggestion but if you want to have a wrap how about using a Weight Watchers on which you can have as your HEB or syn at 6, which is much better than the 13.5 you've worked out for a small one.
Even with synning a WW wrap at 6 you'd still have enough Syns for a glass of wine without going over on your syns, win win!

Great loss mwm sounds like you've been on plan enough for it to have a positive effect.
Work today was a complete farce as we had a power-cut from 9.30am. Intermittent low power all morning, then off all afternoon. Boss wouldn't let us go home until 4.30pm (idiot!) despite the fact my office doesn't even have a window, so we were sat in there with our phone torches on. He only relented in letting us go when another of the managers told him there was no point us being there unable to do any work (it's all on the pc), so he was forced to offer that we could go if we wanted to. He clearly didn't want us to because he had a meeting still scheduled with clients to attend, but me and the other lady in my office legged it out the door before he could change his mind. Honestly, we had no light and no heating, and no way of working - what a c)ckwomble he is!!
Anyway, it was too dark to even find food, so at least syns weren't consumed
Meal plan today:
B - apple
L - porridge HEB, sugar (1) splash of milk from HEA (fortunately had power for 10 mins on sockets - no lights still at 1pm - bonza!)
snack - alpen light (3.5)
D - chicken chow mein with stir fry veggies & veggie boiled rice and extra mushrooms (3 for sauce)
Extra syns = extra milk (3)
Have a lovely weekend everyoneOne day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing
Be nice to your children, they'll choose your care home0 -
Sary - can't say I think much of your boss. What point was there in keeping you in the office when you can't do any work! What a plonker!
You don't need to syn the milk as you now get 2 HEAs with the plan introduced this year. It's now 2 HEAs and 1 HEB every day. Also Alpen Lights are 3 syns not 3.5 so you've saved half there as well.

Sary ~~your boss really is the pits.

Those are great losses, Penny, Mwm and gtq.
No snow to speak of here, but it was -8°C when I went out at 9 o’clock this morning – brrrrrrr!
Surely there was a health and safety issue for you at work, sary?Sewing 88/COLOR]Woollies 19Card s 91Reading 37/400 -
Another bright, cold morning. Have to go out and get some more shopping. I ran down my store cupboard before going on holiday and because of having the kitchen fitted.
The larder unit is now in place and we've moved everything we can into it and my tin store looks pathetic! Just one tin of tomatoes, beans, mixed beans etc etc. I like to keep at least 4 tins of everything but preferably 6 tins so it's a big stock up this morning.
Today's plan:
B - SW fry up - bacon, egg, baked beans, tomatoes, mushrooms
L - Linda McCartney Red Onion and Rosemary sausages & onions sandwich (DH will have butchers sausages as he doesn't like the Linda Mc ones)
D - Butternut squash & chickpea curry with rice
HEA - milk as usual; probably won't have 2nd one
HEB - bread
Syns - wine:D; yes Maman I'm definitely feeling more like myself now:rotfl:

Morning all! Brrr, still just a light covering of snow here but it's freezing!
Reporting a 1lb loss please Chris. It's in the right direction but I know I've slackened on speed a bit last week. I need to sort that out this week as damage limitation for next weekend - it's my birthday AND I'm going to an afternoon tea hen do.
As it's the start on a new month, I've taken my measurements and comparison photos in my pants! The photos are a bit disappointing actually and don't reflect how much better I feel already, but I have lost 7.5 inches across 8 different measurements (5.25 off my bust-waist-hips), so that's nice to see.
Plan for today is batch cooking:
B - None
D - Spiced carrot and lentil soup, toast
T - Spag bol (inc. onion, garlic, mushrooms, tinned toms, grated carrot)
HEA - Milk
HEB - 2x wm crustless
Syns - Sugar in coffee (5), butter (3), hot chocolate (2) = 10
Dry January is over but I still don't particularly feel like wine just for the sake of it, I prefer hot chocolate when it's cold anyway!
Hope everyone has a good weekend! :snow_laugWeightloss: 14.5/65lb0
