I hate not having a plan so I have to plan - even if I can't stick to it for any reason!

Things are getting a bit better now because I can actually get at the hob and oven. Still haven't got my microwave but I can do without that as I don't actually use it very often, other than to warm the plates, LOL!

  • So sorry to hear about your friend GTQ, what a shock.

Well done to all those with losses coming in, even if after a chocolate binge (Choco!) - sounds like something I'd do! :D

No movement on the scales this morning, TOTM is a funny old week. Hopefully all hormones etc will be out the way in time for WI on Saturday.

    Today:
    B - None
    D - Cinnamon porridge
    Snack - a raw carrot
T - Beetroot risotto, 20g low fat cheese
    HEA - Milk and cheese
    HEB - Oats
Syns - Sugar in coffee and porridge (6), risotto (packaged beetroot and wine) (2), hot choc (2) = 10
    Exercise - C25K: Week 4, Run 2

    See you tomorrow!

I'm with you on the planning too Denise . Aside from SW it's saved me so much time and money over the years. I just spend 10 minutes or so every week thinking it through, write my shopping list at the same time, whizz round the shops and I'm sorted for the week. :D

I'm going to have to think my plan for next week carefully as I want to use up anything that can't be frozen. Should still be SW friendly though as I don't buy much synful food. :D

Incidentally tete , which beetroot has syns? :)

It's the sweet smoky grated stuff from Tesco - 2 syns for the whole packet. It's so tasty and convenient though that I don't mind. I can't remember who was saying about using a couple of syns on a dressing meant they eat a salad, this is the same for me - I always grate carrots into it and have with cucumber, toms, etc.

Just in from committee meeting and I'm freezing and dying for a biscuit. However I shall take my 2 syn hot chocolate and my hot water bottle and get into bed out of harm's way.

That's what mine is mostly used for, although I have recently discovered the joy of cooking spinach in it!
