Back from a very pretty tour of the county, DD dropped off for her shopping day. So now, in no particular order, I need to:
Finish taking down Christmas, sorting out the unwanted bits as well;
Wash my hair. Hateful job;
Clean bathrooms whilst no one else in is to mess them up again straight away;
A load of washing;
HHI;
Kitchen list;
Update new diary.
Hmmmm, better get going. With a cuppa of course if anyone wants to join me:coffee:0 -
I've got two loads of washing out - and it's frozen on the line! The sun is out so hopefully it will thaw out and then dry a little.
Got the vacuum out, even though it wasn't too messy, and it died. Luckily I have a spare but I find it really heavy, not too bad downstairs but hard if I have to do the stairs and then the bedrooms. I have rubbish hands and a twingy elbow. I'll see how I go because I don't really want to spend out on another one.
Just been out for a walk and picked up DH's outstanding prescription so glad to get back in the warm and drink coffee.0 -
Valli please don’t close the thread, it’s my life line. Even though I don’t post and I only pop the lists up I do read and say to myself I must post more..
I had no intention of actually closing the thread, I was concerned that there were so few posts and that it just might whither and die on its own.
Three loads out on line so fingers crossed that it will dry.
Just eating breakfast then going to clean the kitchen.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

I wake up a lot during the night so put loads on then. And switch the DW on, too.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

It's beneath my son's room ... he's never complained. It 'bleeps' when it's finished. I hear nothing:p

I very rarely do a wash above forty degrees, and use the timesaver option on my washes.Better is good enough.0 -
Kitchen done. Going to clean my teeth then run the steam mop over the bathroom floor then put the pad in the WM.
YS smoked bacon (skinny rashers) out of the freezer for carbonara later. Must buy eggs.
Going into work after that.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016
