  • Hi all x

My shift tonight was pretty uneventful. I'm home, washed and in my jammies. Lunch made up for tomorrow and washing I asked DD to hang on the winterdyke while I was out actually hung rather than flung on it.

Just having a wee cup of decaff then I'm off to bed not looking forward to the early rise tomorrow

    Night all sweet dreams x

  • Dozed off for an hour at 11pm [strike]until Himself woke me up getting into bed[/strike]. Didn't rip his head off, though, as he was genuinely trying to be quiet, had kept the light off and wasn't clumping about.

However, I'm up, Himself is snoring upstairs, the Idiot Cat is pretending to care by curling up on the cushion next to me and I have a feeling that I am going to go slightly insane by Monday morning at this rate.
I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.

    Perfect list for today.

    I'm also adding

    Put decs away
Put DDs kitchen stuff in loft too - she can help
Pick Poppy's "gifts" from lawn (because they'll be frozen solid and therefore easier to move)
Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY

    Morning all.
Priorities today same as yesterday as apart from washing, nothing else got done.

    Have a great day everyone.
Spend less now, work less later.
  • Morning all,

I thought it was the middle of the night when DS wandered in this morning, it was 7am :rotfl:

I have imposed a TV ban on the children  I'll be regretting that by noon when I've had no peace! It's forecast to be sunny today so we will get out for a walk, need to go to the library and the market for F&V. The dog needs a good walk, and i want to do some batch cooking too.

Right, off to make the beds, have lovely days all xx

I’ve overslept again!! This is not boding well for going back to work tomorrow. I’ve got up to a broken boiler so DH is already on the case and hopefully someone is coming out this afternoon to fix it.
I also could have sworn that I posted last night - seems not. Think I might be going just slightly post-Christmas loopy. Anyway, not to bore you, but a few jobs were squeezed in while I was waiting to go and collect the teenagers and deliver them back to their own homes. The fridge got sorted by default when I found a leaking red pepper creating disgustingness in the bottom.
This morning I need to sort the clean washing from yesterday, meal plan, kitchen clean, and rediscover the spare bed from under the pile of Xmas decoration boxes. I’ll be back...

Tree away, plus all additional decs; sofa moved to rescue baubles 'helpfully' taken down from tree by cat. Box of 'carp' found in loft. Is going to CS.

HHI done and another load of washing now hanging up. A friend popped in for coffee which was nice but the kitchen therefore still needs cleaning and decs still looking for their final home. Bag packed up for the cs though and 2 unwanted gifts given to friend’s DGD.

I’m just having a warm mug of soup as the house is now getting cold. I’m hoping the boiler man is going to come soon.

Whippets were collected this morning (I am now dogless for seven weeks unless we get some bookings on - I may well go insane).

So the tree and decs taken down yesterday have now been lofted.

Mr Wolf also kindly pushed the Dys0n around, wondered why it wasn't picking up, and looked nonplussed when I removed a great swathe of my hair from round the roller (my hair is currently falling out in veritable clumps :( )

Couldn't do that with the Whippets; I had to be behind Peggy with a poo bag almost as she was squatting, otherwise Sunny would eat it, dirty beggar.

Not sure what's on the agenda this afternoon; I have a frog list as long as my arm, but whether I'll get chance to get anything done is highly debatable, as Mr Wolf is wandering around like a lost puppy, and constantly wanting me to sit and play board games/computer games with him. Honestly - you'd think he was 6, not 69.
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)
  • Market, library, bakers and barbers (for DS) visited. We walked there and back, and have just taken the dog for a walk. Park visited (again!).

Kiddies are playing nicely whilst I enjoy a brew. Can't get into healthy eating headspace today - it'll be a lot easier once I'm back at work on Monday. Will shower kiddies shortly then cook dinner. Early nights all round xx
