  • Yesterday was 10/17 NSD's for me, which I'm really happy with. I think I can really push on and break my own personal record of 19, I think it was.

I have all my meals planned until Saturday and all the ingredients in the house for them. I can't see where any spends will come from that might scupper my NSD's, so should sail through till Saturday when I'll need to go grocery shopping.

    Grateful for;
    - My laptop
    - My gym bag which was repaired by my lovely DM
    - Aftershave
    - The Nike training app

Day off today. I have lots of jobs planned, need to walk the dog, dust downstairs and vacuum, finish online grocery shop, do two sewing repairs, make leftover roasted veg into soup, wait in between 1pm and 2pm for a delivery which DS is waiting for, make butterbean burgers for tea, sort out two loads of laundry, go into town before the school run to sort out the final bit of my building society frog, also withdraw some cash which our bank owes me. Annoyingly we have almost run out of butter so I need to get some today even though our groceries arrive in the morning.

Ran last night and may run tonight but then again I may not - will see how I feel.

    Good morning guys
Not much to tell really but I’m on 11 NSDs now ( but one spendy was a travel pass and the other for medical stuff for OH) so I’m ok with them.
Our only real spend this month is for travel to and a day out in Manchester at the month because us and another couple are going to see Strictly. OH is keeping an eye out for cheap travel tickets.
I finally got round to starting my frogs list and 2 off already ( I must admit 1 I didn’t do myself cos tall son was here and it was a ladder for me or reaching up for him so he did it)
I’m grateful for OH coming through his op ok ( it wasn’t life threatening but any surgery is scary to me) , for nice hot meals and for only 2 more shifts at work this week.
Anyway better get on, lots to do before I go out
    Have a good day guys

  • Morning everyone :)

Am working till 4 today and have left purse at home and have lunch with me so aiming for a NSD that will be 3/10

Got to drop some bits off that I sold on FB later only £4 but every little helps! That will be going into my 365 penny challenge pot so I can cross some more days off! Luckily it is not far from DS nursery so isn't really much of a detour.

3 things I am grateful for today:
    1. Work actually being warm for once! (not freezing my butt off!)
    2. My son being mega cute this morning <3
    3. My cough/cold seems to be getting better

    C xx

    Hi all :D

Today is NSD #13. I am super tired after an awful night with DS & so resisting the urge to buy sugar!!
I finally got round to fixing my top last night after the sleeve got caught in the washing machine, its not good enough for work but I've made the sleeves three quarter length & it will do for around the house.
Off to the boots sale on friday in search of some birthday gifts for hub, hoping to pick up just a few bits so he has some things to open.

Grateful for- my lovely colleague buying me some chocs as a thank you, having a long weekend coming up & for hub really getting on board with our house saving & suggesting cheaper things to do this weekend!:D

cuddlymarm - glad to hear your DH's op went well.

I think all the things on my list are completed except the grocery shop which I will do soon. I also remembered I wanted to apply for a job but I have to fish out an old laptop with Windows 7 on it because I won't pay for Office 365 on my new one - total rip off imo.

Called at Tesco for my df butter and on the way back to the car I found £5 next to my car, this has gone in my sealed money box which gets opened at the end of the year.

Today I am grateful for my gloves and hat, for the plants starting to poke through, for not being out in the rain, for using my icyland vouchers, for getting some knitting done, for free clothes for dd from kind friends.
