Martin would be proud of you!:money:
Have a great big hug from me too.:) I know you've worn yourself into the ground over the last week or two but it'll do you good to do something on your own on Thursday.
let me know what you buy in the Phillip Kingsley range. I'm interested in anything that thickens hair, particularly my fringe.0 -

LL another gran (well 68 and a step gran) who loves her polished toe nails, purple, red, bright pink any colour of the rainbow really, makes me smile too when I swing my nails out of bed etc.:rotfl:
Humpty another hug on the way, enjoy your me time and shopping on Thursday.
Lovely to see lots of new faces, baby steps to being fab is fine and a lot of us get lapses on occasions, feeling poorly, stressed or just too much to do on a given day, but that is OK, just start again the next day.
Happy New Year. The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. (Abraham Lincoln)0 -
Thank you all for the kind wishes. I've had a lazy day and feel much better. Maman the Philip Kingsley gift was for fine hair, I'll have a look and let you know what it is called, I'm planning on buying the elasticizer as it is supposed to be good. My hair is fine and it has taken on that more brittle look that I think is common as people age, the products I've used, twice so far, have made my hair look younger, not sure how to explain but softer, smoother and healthier. I'm really pleased with it.
.
I've been naughty over this busy time and haven't been taking my flaxseed capsules and my eyes are sore and dry, it has confirmed how much good they were doing and I am going to be sure to take two every day. I suppose I shouldn't be surprised as the top eye consultant at the local hospital recommended them. He gave me drops, obviously can't prescribe the flaxseed but he reckoned it was the best thing.0 -
Hi ladies and gentelmen!
How you're planning to loose weight? Are you following any paticular diet? Few years ago a lost a stone by simply setting daily calories limit and with bigger allowance for weekends. I'm going to do it again.
Do you use clip on hair extentions? I'd like to try it. I want to try long hair.0 -
maman I looked up the Philip Kingsley products, gulp it is £85 for the two my DD gave me. Not sure what to do, I love the results but not used to spending that sort of money. They should last me a couple of months so I will keep going with them and see how it goes. is to maOneke the hair you have look thiicker the 2nd is to stop hair loss and promote growth, . If the 2nd one works well I should only need it so we shall see. Of course that is the dearer of the two at £50, still if it works.............

Hi All,
I'd love to joint your expressions of Fab-dom too.
I'm 52, recently (beginning of December) took early retirement, and also love painting my toe mails. Turquoise blue is my smile colour.
My husband who is 62 (we worked together and have retired together) thinks I'm nuts to paint my nails blue, but as he seem's to still see me as a teenager, I'm just living up to his dream world.
I need to loose weight, which I am doing (although not checked this last week) but I'm hoping to do it slowly by being more active now I have the time.
I do Aqua-fit, Legs, Bums and Tums, and get out completely of my comfort zone by doing Body Jam. Think Hip Hop Gangster Rap dancers. I'm rubbish at it but it's such fun.
Looking forward to reading all your lovely recommendations for Fab-dom.0 -
Having done loads of work yesterday, decluttering, tidying and ironing. I am feeling tired and have some sort of joint pain in my right hand wrist and joint of my thumb. I really struggled to open a tin earlier. Hopefully it will improve
I have to go back for a more detailed eye test next week- I find the chains are faster but independents seem to allow more time. assume she was being beyond through. So hopefully nothing untoward, yet I know if there was I would have gotten a referral letter to a hospital immediately.
First step next year is to remove the dresses that have no structured waist band as basically elastic pull over your head dresses. Just don;t tell me to stop eating. I will be wearing structured clothing. I think this might limit my lack of insight.
I dont want to be a new year statistic of joining a gym but it might be benifical as i will have a new year deal hopefully
Humpy- that buy to let needs to go as an investment needs to provide a return. It is only returning hassle and prevents to allocating finances to a new project that will yield a better emotional return and free you from burden of tenant issues.0 -
Happy new year, fabbers.0
