  • :(Hi fabbers
This week I've managed to put on weight:cry: hopefully just a blip and it will soon come off again.
    Must try harder.
I'm decluttering all the clothes that don't spark joy and oh and I are going to try and book a couple of days away just before Easter.
No make up today as not going any where so manicure tonight.
    Keep fabbing.

Hi All - did a bit of fabbing yesterday. Lovely soak in the bath and a pedicure. Bought a battery operated flosser from Lidly and I'm impressed! It will help me make sure my teefies stay healthy!
Usual house things today but I did do my worktop pressups to try to build up some muscle tone. Need to do some squats & lunges later.
Small victories - sometimes they are all you can hope for but sometimes they are all you need - be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle

Whenever i read this thread it always leaves me full of motivation .

Wednesday Sorry you are feeling a bit dispondent at the mo . I know exactly how you feel , my weight is coming off sooooo slow , even though ive been eating healthy , but its only a blip , it will come off soon ,

SFT I so agree with what you said about using the "Best" stuff . and as LL says , its only special to us , Others might not think so much of it , so use it and enjoy it ., I had 2 NICE tureen dishes that i always used ,,,,,,,, not to be posh like Downton Abbey, They was practical , cooked the food , put it in the tureens , kids came home from school , got what they wanted , nuked it ,job done , and no rushing about at tea time doing it all at the same time. left me more time to spend with the kids , The dishes were years old ....LOTS of years, but i bet i used them for over 20 years ..and eventually one lid got broke , but i just replaced it with another tureen . Ive got some pretty bedding too , Always sleep better when that is on the bed . lol

eandjsmum A holiday before Easter will give you something nice to look forward too , Keep fabbing xx

Silvasava I always feel like a soak in the bath is pampering .Lots of bubbles and nice creams for after......lovely and relaxing .

LL Great news that you have lost another 2 lbs , really pleased for you , Mine is coming off S-L--O-=W-L=Y .I must try some new recipes, Maybe get rid of DH as hes a chocaholic and got his stash all over the house !! but im resisting "Most" of the time ,
The only fabbing ive done today is house fabbing , My microwave .........hasnt stopped working ......but the paint has started to flake off, and i dont trust them when they do that to cook food , Last one it came off on the inside ,,,,,,,,,Bought a new one today , ALL STAINLESS STEEL. . Lets see this little beauty flake off !!!!
  • I've got such a boring week ahead of me, lots of appointments like blood tests, the dentist and the GP to go to. Not the good looking doctor, unfortunately!:rotfl:

I will have to keep fabbing in the meantime.:D

I've just had a lovely bath and have put a hair treatment on that I will wash off tonight.

I did buy a few things new from M&S as I wanted a couple of new necklaces. I will wear one to the concert the week after next.:A

I'm going to wear the dress that I dyed red to the concert and do my nails red too. It's funny as that dress was in a bag for the charity shop but now that I dyed it it's probably the favourite thing in my wardrobe.:)

I hope not . The weather here is frightful today.
I am just about to order some curtain lining as I brought some curtain material in a CS last week and its enough for the hall window. All measured out but I would like the curtain lined.

I'm also looking at cheerful summer dress fabric for a tea dress.

Yes, I do too. I love red and also cobalt blue. They are probably my two favourite colours to wear.:)

You can't beat a nice red dress to turn up the wow factor!!!!

    Hello lovely ladies...,

Just painted my nails .....the family are coming round for lunch soon so I like to make an effort. :rotfl:

I am another one who is wishing my life away. I'm sooooooo over winter. Roll on spring.

It's actually quite pleasant here today. Perhaps the worst is over...(ever the optimist!!!).

I've got quite a boring week too......Hey ho life cant all be pleasure cruises and champagne corks popping. Mores the pity. ;)

I used to love February. On the 4th it was our wedding anniversary and then of course Valentine's Day. My husband was a real romantic and he used to really push the boat out. He always treated me like a princess at the best of times but February was always just that little bit extra special.

Instead today it is exactly 4 and half years since his death. Not the nicest of anniversaries......:o. I think I shall treat myself to something though this month, in his honour. I could do with a nice black handbag ........

Feeling decidedly un-fab here - full of a cold - very woolly head, blocked nose, shivering....
Another one waiting for Spring - can't come soon enough!

    Hello

Could I please join you all? I think I was a member years ago, but i fell off of the fabbing bus.

Last Sunday was a bit of a game changer for me. A (not close) friend died and he was younger than me. It just sort of shocked me into looking after myself.

I rejoined WW on Monday, and have had a great week, food wise, but I have a lot to lose, so its just the beginning. first weigh-in is tomorrow night.

I began to work at home. It is encouraged in my job, but I do not really like it, unless I have got lots to do. I discovered that not commuting into Central London made me feel so much better. I have booked myself as WFH every Monday, and will choose another day later in the week so as to not cause too much disruption to my team. I am the head of the team, but need to be there if my colleagues need my support, so will check their diaries.

I have a bit of an expensive handbag habit, and those bags just hang on the wardrobe looking lovely. Well this week I am going to use them. I just filled one with my work stuff and it will be my everyday bag from now on. I can't take it with me when I go..... the others I will use over the next few weeks. I want them all to be used.

Finally, for this week, i think the death shocked me so much, i booked a trip to New York. I am going in a couple of weeks. When I come back, I will start saving, I have a couple of accounts which I can move money to, so I will set up a standing order.

In the coming week, I am opening perfume I got for Christmas, I am going to the hairdressers, and next Saturday I am spending the day with three friends at the seaside.

I have the week after I return from NYC off of work, so I am going to clear out my wardrobe then, there are lots of things in there which I haven't worn for ages, so I obviously do not need them. I will offer them to friends and take everything else to the local charity shop.

I suppose my aims for this year are
    1) Lose some weight
    2) Look after my wellbeing
    3) start saving
    and
    4) clear the clutter.

Is it OK if I join in?
