Yes I meant to comment on that......

My weakness is names. I'm like an elephant with faces but I cannot for the life of me remember peoples names. I have to be terribly diplomatic but sometimes I just have to fess up (usually when I need to make introductions) and then I have to shamefacedly admit that although I know exactly who they are I have forgotten their name:o. So embarrassing.

i feel so sad an de flated . Im usually very positive , and raring to go , but not today . I met someone who hadnt seen me for about 3 years and when i spoke to him , he looked me straight in the eye, and said "Im just trying to work out who you are ?"............he didnt recognise me !!! 3 years isnt an age ago , i had my glasses on which hes never seen me wear , so i assumed it was that . and laughed it off , This person has known me for MANY years............. and said i think its the hair as well !? I realise ive been living in a bubble , thinking im no different .when in reality ive let myself go , Overweight , glasses , and hair that needs dyeing . Honestly i felt like hed slapped me in the face , I could cry , I was going great guns , lost weight this week , de cluttering etc , but this has really knocked me for six ,

Try not to dwell on it, onwards and upwards.xxx
I’ve been fabbing to levels that are getting me compliments so I wanted to come share with you 😀

Yesterday I got a Body Shop makeover. She didn’t do such a great job with the liquid eyeliner so I popped into Boots and sorted it using a tester (very MSE). I went to meet some friends and they were impressed. I wore perfume and a gorgeous outfit, am told green is my colour!!!

My friend text me to say I looked radiant! I think the most decadent thing I’m doing daily is using my Lotus Wei spray. Do look into them as I feel it’s really changed how I feel. Hope you’re all well.

I’m now putting makeup on daily and it’s making such a difference :o

    Wow!! Amazing. Good for you.:)

The main reason I gave up volunteering at the CAP Job Club where I was a job coach, and which I loved, was that we got a whole new team of coaches and a whole new lot of participants all at the same time, and I didn't know who was who from one week to the next. It was stressful and embarrassing. It was made worse by the fact that some coaches and some participants didn't come every week, and one week they would turn up and I didn't have a clue who they were, even halfway through the course. I felt I had to go, after having done it for three years. I would love to do something like it again and have thought of asking at CAB, where most clients are one-offs and I wouldn't be expected to recognise them.

Just filled in a preliminary volunteering form for CAB.

Good afternoon ladies and gents, well we're all fired up today aint we lol. Some feeling a bit down and others floating two feet above the pavement. For those on a downward trend, remember, in a hour or two all this could change and something lovely happens to lift your spirits, if it doesnt just laugh at yourself, you would laugh at me Moll if I posted the scenario that brought you so low (in a nice way). An elderly gentleman ! Good lord woman, I would walk away feeling sad for him !
Those floating, fabulous keep doing it and pull the rest of us up with you .
I'm really enjoying this thread and its having an impact on me. I've not been too well since Christmas, nothing terrible but enough to drain the energy from me. I have manged to keep up my skin care routine. Apart from not being in optimal good health, I have been worrying about the upkeep of my house. I fought and struggled to pay off my mortgage, suffering a few major setbacks but done it, and 5 years early to boot. However I do need a rewire and have done for a few years, serious now. Also my roof really needs something done just not sure what. Have you ever felt scared to get someone to look in case they tell you lol.
I was injured on public transport last January and claimed compensation, which has come through , giving me enough to do one of the jobs for sure :) so life looking a wee bit better. As Mr McCawber used to say "something will turn up "

Probably the post was removed before most of us saw it. Spam is generally something irrelevant or selling something. :)
