I will bookmark this page about peels so I can look at it later.

I will use the pads until I try the other type of peel. I suppose that shows what good quality those pads are that I noticed a difference with them already.:)

I have to take this horrible Chinese herbal powder drink for the next 4 weeks and I am going to start drinking warm lemon water afterwards.

I used to always do that with lemon water an empty stomach every morning as it has a lot of health benefits. It's aids digestion and helps flush out your liver, I think. I just fell out of the habit.

I'm 6 days in to taking the levothyroxine and definitely notice I'm less tired.

I haven't been sticking to my WW points but haven't gained any weight back so I assume that means it's working with controlling my weight.

I'm going to start WW again today. I tried on a dress today, it's a skater style dress from a charity shop from George that I dyed red. It looks a little tight around my stomach so I'm going to see if I can lose 1-2 pounds by the concert next week.:A

I will be able to see if the dress looks better by next week.

  • Off to the hairdressers this morning, feeling very nervous and not sure what I want to do. Here's hoping I'm back on later telling you all how fabulous it looks.

    Wish me luck.

What sugarbaby didn't mention is that she not only buys her Van Dal brand of choice but is very mse with it as many of them come from eBay. :T You should be fine finding swimsuits for your holiday sugar, the shops are getting loads in stock right now which is how I found one yesterday.

    Hello Ladies
    ,

Maman I buy all of my Van Dal shoes, sandals and hand bags from eBay. I could not afford to pay the prices on the Van Dal website and when I was in employment and could afford the prices, I simply was not prepared to pay those prices. :D

My sister H is arriving in London today from Birmingham, and my sister J is arriving in London today from Sunderland. They are both coming to help me celebrate my birthday. :j

Yesterday I got lots of housework done in anticipation of my sister J's arrival as we are playing host to her until next Tuesday.

Today I am trying to get all of the laundry washed and dried before she arrives, then I can concentrate on just relaxing and enjoying her company.

My birthday is on Monday, but I like to celebrate on the preceding and post days as well. :D

Have a great weekend sugarbaby. I think it's a brilliant idea to have a long celebration. I'll be away on Monday so will wish you Happy Birthday now.:A

    Good luck Humptydumptybits.:A
And so say all of us.:T

I use a daily liquid glycolic toner .

Thanks for all the detail LL. Like Maddie, I've got a toner (Clarins Brightening Exfoliator). I plan on using up that and various other exfoliators I have stored and then the information on alternatives will be useful.

I have just recently bought myself a couple of books on shoe decoration and embellishment. I used to be a devil for dyeing shoes and decorating them but again haven't done it for years. I thought I would give it another go.

I have a young friend who's really into customising shoes. She wears a lot of those retro styles. As well as colour, she does decoupage on them. I'm not sure that I'd want to wear them but they are a real conversation piece.

I tried on the various holiday clothes from Peacocks this morning for the first time. The floaty dress is a likely keeper but I don't think the playsuit is flattering. I much prefer a short dress to shorts. The bikini is good, fits quite well but I'm telling myself that I already have 4. Do I need another?

Off to the city centre for eyebrow wax and tint in a while. Hairdresser tomorrow. I've looked at the forecast for next week (reasonably good) so need to think about what I'm packing for my short break. I'm almost 100% certain I'll wear my black jumpsuit to the black tie do on Sunday. It's smart without looking overdone like a ball dress IYSWIM.

Still bright, sunny and dry here. Love it!:D
  • Well thank you all for the good wishes and I think it worked. The colour I am really pleased with, the base colour is just a bit darker than my natural colour but the hi-lights lift it, I paid for ten foils but I am sure she did more than that, the treatment worked well and it feels lovely and soft and healthy and not just like it has had peroxide on it! The cut? Well she has cut it well my only reservation is it is a bit longer than I would have liked, I think as I was a new customer she was a bit wary of too drastic a change. I will be more sure when I wash and dry it myself as a good blowdry can cover things up a bit but so far so good. I've booked another appointment for the end of May so I am going to try and keep it looking nice.

Delighted for you humpty. Maybe it's no bad thing that they've not cut too much off this time. You can always be a little bolder next time. I know I'd prefer too long to too short.:)

I'm really pleased with my eyebrow wax and tint. I've gone for a bit darker with the tint this time so more obvious definition. I thought I'd mention (although you all probably know already): when I filled out the usual H&S form before the treatment it said not to have it if you were using any sort of peel.:)
  • Yes maman, I think you are right. I love the colour so that was definitely worth it.
