The Burgundy Grape sounds great LL , maybe to drink though:rotfl:

Beautiful morning here but looks a bit nippy, going to walk into town this morning to collect a parcel and if I go the long way round I will have done around 9000 steps.

Will have a look for the Argan Rose when I do my shopping tomorrow at Waitrose, I don't shop every week at Waitrose as it's not particularly MSE but it's a very pleasant store and I do have a £8 off voucher if I spend £40 !

Have just been sitting eating my breakfast watching our pair of crazy resident magpies building their nest, I don't know if it will stand much of a gale.

Hope everyone has a good fabbing day.

LL - your chaps sound like our 'Wrinklies' as they call themselves at the sailing club. They all pitch in on a Monday to do any maintenance round the club - they are a lovely bunch and very much appreciated by us all.
Yoga this evening - didn't go last week as my energy levels were really low for some reason. It's held in the next town not far from me and they have an Aldi where I usually pop in to before yoga so I'll be looking at their beauty products with my list ;)
Bitter cold wind here today so will be using the car instead of walking :(
Small victories - sometimes they are all you can hope for but sometimes they are all you need - be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle

Enjoy the last day of your holiday Sheila. Northern Ireland is on our 'to do ' list for short breaks. We're fortunate as our local airport does flights to Belfast. ETA: They do at the moment but as it's Flybe who knows?? :(

It's wet and grey here. We're off for lunch in a country pub with friends. We had hoped to be enjoying sunlit scenery on the way but that's not going to happen! The company will be good though.:)

One of the handsewing jobs yesterday was on a pair of jeans that I was putting off wearing as they're a bit too long so wrinkle up on the bottom. I didn't want to make a permanent job until I've washed them a few more times so I've just put a few stitches in the seams and handsewn the 'orange' back stitiching around the bottom. They're expensive White Company jeans so it seemed ridiculous not to be wearing them.

So I'm wearing those today with my dark green chiffon blouse and a black lace body underneath. Apparently pretty 'blouses' (rather than plain shirts) are quite the thing now.

Hopefully I'll get some more of my book read when I get back.

Hope you're all having a good day whatever you're up to.:)

Out dancing shortly. I loathe wearing tights when I'm dancing but it's turned wet and cold so I may have to. :(

Maman - what type of dancing do you do?:)

yes its been lovely. our b n b is abbey lodge fenagh? my husband stayed here last year, he’s been coming 20 odd years around the area fishing. However, due to him having being diagnosed with moror neurone disease last july he’s not fit enough to go anywhere alone☹️

Scottish dancing, although I'm a Welsh woman living in England!:D I've done it on and off since I was a child and it's great fun and good exercise.

That sounds great. I've been to Cork and Dublin but yet to cross the border.

Lunch was good. Amongst our friends we have people on either side of the B***** divide so we didn't talk about that.:D

I used to go to Leitrim with my dad when I was a child, he was born there. He had an old uncle, I don't think he was actually his uncle but an old male relative of some sort who was always called uncle. He was a gamekeeper/fishing guide on a big estate but I can't remember what it was called. He was regarded as a very wise man who knew everything there is to know about the countryside.

My dad was born and grew up about 30 miles from Fenagh, further north. It is a lovely part of the world and I have many happy memories of visits.

I hope your husband is enjoying it and you too of course.

Maman north of the border is lovely too. Some beautiful coastline. My mother was from the north so if I wasn't holidaying in Leitrim I was in County Down with a very different set of relatives (Orangemen who disapproved of having a Catholic in the house and were constantly worried that someone might see me going to the Catholic church.)

    Happy days.
