no catch just a text everyweek, i think its quicker to phone the number:)
  • the text number is a standard number beginning 07..
  • Thanks to Katie for confirming it was an Alba box, I was beginning to wonder whether or not I had made the right move not joining after seeing the Humax logo on the Inview website.

I have also been doing this for a while. Had a few problems at first, we had a really crappy aerial so I couldn't get any of the channels, and they were brilliant about it, waited about a month and a half for me to get a new aerial. They're really helpful and always email back quickly if you need help. Really recommend doing this! It is a normal 10p text and i think if you miss a couple of weeks out in the year you can still get your voucher if that makes sense. They're also ok if you're a little early/later sending in your texts.
  • Thanks I have sent them an email!

I reckon this is genuine enough:T . Probably asking for use of main TV because it usually has the best[strongest] signal to receive this service, also leave on standby because they usually upgrade or whatever through the small hours.I'm sure the techies out there will tell us more.
Banks - If they sold cars the wheels would come as 'extras'

maybe its because it stores the information about your usage of teletext in volatile memory (memory that requires power to keep the information) so it won't be able to generate the code you need to text if the power goes off because it will loose the information it has stored
