Alright folks, was on teletext this morning when I noticed a page 'Join Teletext User Feedback Panel and receive a Freeview box' (Page 107 on analog teletext). I contacted them for more info through the feedback@inview.co.uk (can also call on 01606 812500) and got the following reply.Email_from_Inview wrote:We are setting up the user panel to enable us to obtain feedback on what banners are being looked at and used in the TV Listings Guide on the Teletext Extra service.
All you would need to do once a week is go to a special screen on the Teletext Extra TV guide and follow the instructions provided. The screen will give you a series of letters and numbers which you will need to send by text message to telephone number 07797 800360 just once a week on a Monday.
In return for your assistance, provided you send the informaation once a week for a minimum of 48 weeks in a year, you will receive £50.00 Marks and Spencer vouchers once a year and in addition to this we will be running a prize draw once a month where you could win a TV or one of three other smaller prizes.
Please read the attached information on what you would need to do & then please email feedback@inview.co.uk to ask any questions & to confirm that you are happy to proceed on this basis. I will also need your address, phone number & mobile phone number. Once I get your email I confirming that you agree to the following criteria I will arrange for a set top box & your user number to be sent to you.
After reading the attached terms and conditions I agree to the following criteria
I agree to use the free view box on the main television
I agree to leave the free view box on standby
I agree to commit to sending a text message once a week
I confirm my mobile number to be....................................................
I understand and agree that if I do not send texts on a regular basis that the free view box must be returned..
Signature.......................................................................................
Date.................................................
I've read on the DigitalSpy Forums that the free box is a ALBA STB8 worth about £20 but thats not been confirmed.
I think this is a geniune offer but it does look like a lot of hassle to get a free £20 box but I thought Id post incase someone did want to take it on. Just email feedback@inview.co.uk (or phone) and say you would like more information on joining the user panel and they will email you the contract above.

just phoned and they are sending my freeview box
thanks:)0 -
I assume the number you have to send the weekly text to is only a 10p number, not a "??p plus your standard network charge" thing.
If they charge you more than 40p in total for the text, you'd end up out of pocket.
