I would like to join in pls. I managed to declutter a few areas towards the end of last year but I have a lot more to do and making myself accountable here will really help me.

    Happy new year everyone

  • Happy New Year All.
My new 2019 calendar is up and running, a very pretty picture of snowdrops for January, I wonder if we'll get any snow over the next few months, it's been very mild so far.
Out for lunch today, but shouldn't be long, so aim to apply myself this afternoon as back to work tomorrow (glum face), so hopefully some outs to report later.

  • We are hoping to buy this year and i'm slowly getting rid of things so that we have less to take to a new house.
I finally managed to go through my craft/paper draws and got rid of a tesco bag full of old paper that I didn't need. Plus 4 books on the shelf that is to go to charity. Woop! Knowing me, i'll probably end up buying more books this year.
  • Also, Marie Kondo's new show is now on Netflix if anyone is having trouble finding inspiration.

As part of my efforts I have just ordered 40 donation bags from BHF.
I don't drive and part of my challenge is getting the clutter out of the house rather than deciding what's to go.
Once filled, I can contact them to arrange collection and I'm giving myself a goal of these 40 bags filled and donated by mid March (my birthday).I

Feels good to have the target and a plan together.
Tomorrow we are doing a freezer/cupboard inventory for food and that will also include a declutter. That should spur me on to do the equipment cupboard then
