De-cluttered my bag & purse of receipts & all the rubbish that accumulates at the bottom of the bag - or is it just me?
More stuff just getting randomly binned or bagged for CS or even photographed & listed on ebay.
Sold 4 items tonight so will get them packed & away once paid.0 -
MrsSD, I need to totally empty the house by may 2020, 200 +m², basement, garage…!! And I need the money1st goal: 0/936 euros
2nd goal: 0/15160 euros0 -
I am working on a kitchen inventory spreadsheet as I found I kept buying things I already had lots of. I also kept finding expired stuff in my pantry I had forgotten about. So far the column headings I am using are item, location, expiry date, quantity. I think it will save me money and prevent me wasting stuff. It will also mean I don't have to open every cupboard and drawer when deciding what to cook. When I am decluttered I am actually thinking of doing an inventory for other areas of the house. I expect that will make me look like a loon, but never mind!
That is probably a very good idea.:)Mrs_Salad_Dodger wrote: »Wednesday2000, I do love your picturemakes me smile every time I see it
You need lists - lots of lovely lists :rotfl: Then you just have to remember to look at your lists :rotfl:
I do love my lists.:rotfl:White_musk wrote: »MIA here too, loaded with cold and then to add insult to injury I got a migraine.

I felt like I was getting a migraine this morning, I haven't had one in a while. I took ibuprofen because as usual I forgot I got some strong migraine tablets from my GP. I can't think straight when I'm getting the aura.:(
It didn't materialise in the end!0 -
This week I will set myself a task of decluttering the bathroom, especially the make up bags.
I will also sort out the shampoo bottles and use the nearly empty ones first (OH is responsible for us being in this situation.
There you go, I am accountable now and will report back when task is completed.0 -
Lots of decluttering for my mum, but not counting that into my total. Interestingly, it seems easier when it's not your own stuff!
I found two empty honey jars in the cupboard, and three nearly empty shampoo/shower gel containers, and tipped the residue into their replacements. Seeing a theme here, and a need for a conversation with my 13YO!
98-99 empty honey jars into recycling
100-102 empty shower containers into recycling
103-105 old glasses to Specsavers charity bin

I used to get them often and they would last for days. They are much rarer now and the longest they last is around 48 hours. Horrendously painful and debilitating though.
I've decluttered some bacon, mushrooms and black pudding into a tiger roll, then into my tummy. :rotfl:
Just heading out so nothing will be done today although I did empty one box last night and threw out a broken piece of crystal and some paperwork. I may also have a home for my unwanted Welsh dresser. :jFeb 2019 GC £151.53/£300God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can, wisdom to know the difference.0 -

106 cardboard box to school for project (but likely to return as enhanced clutter!)2021 - mission declutter and clean - 0/20210 -
New charity bag came saying will collect Monday so went mad and filled it, wardrobe almost empty now, good stuff but have not been worn for years so out they go, went to put outside and saw that the previous one which had been outside for a week had gone. Result. Am putting plastic hangers into a bag to take to CS and re-hanginf clothes in wardrobes - have been leaving the regular use items in the downstairs bathroom (dressing room) so am moving them upstairs and will have to think what I am going to wear before I go downstairs - it is hard to go upstairs so try to just go up to bed. Put all the stuff from under the sink into boxes so cleaner can clean cupboard, may well end up throwing some of the stuff out as cleaners bring their own usually. Feeling really motivated thank you all. x0

I was thinking of giving my fold out bed to the British Heart Foundation. It was quite expensive and I only slept on it a few months, I think.
It takes up a lot of space and it has negative connotations as I used to have to sleep in a separate room to my husband when I was ill last year.
I have to check to see I didn't do something stupid like cut the fire label off before i call them.:DWhite_musk wrote: »I used to get them often and they would last for days. They are much rarer now and the longest they last is around 48 hours. Horrendously painful and debilitating though.
